What most people see as waste, we see as an opportunity.

Today, we’re processing approximately 800 bags of coconut husk waste collected from Nairobi and transforming it into a valuable resource for healthier soils, greener landscapes, and a cleaner environment.

The shredding machine is on site, the drying area is ready, and we’re excited to begin turning this agricultural waste into sustainable mulch.

Every bag processed is one step closer to reducing waste and creating products that support soil health, water conservation, and beautiful green spaces.

We were proud to support the initiative in partnership with Nairobi City Council and Parklands Residents Association.

The mulch used in this space was made from green coconut husks collected from vendors right here in Parklands.

Instead of being discarded as waste, the husks were recycled and returned to protect the same neighborhood’s soil.

Why does this matter?
Bare soil under the Nairobi sun dries out quickly, grows w**ds easily, and gradually loses life.
