Built on the strong foundations of teamwork and discipline, HanneHowardFund Lenana (HHFL) is a Kenyan community-based organization that takes care of needy children from the slums of Lenana in Nairobi on matters concerning schooling, shelter, healthcare among other basic needs. Founded in 2006, HHFL has grown reaching out to over 130 kids. The children are taken care of and given a chance to enjoy

the same advantage with other kids who come from better backgrounds, transforming them into responsible young people who can make informed decisions in life. HHFL works directly with HanneHowardFund (HHF), a hands-on, grassroots Canadian charity that spends 6 months of the year working with the HHFL team and children at the project.
