4 days ago we were happy to have a meaningful training session on how to register our organisation.
we really appreciate for

The sessions went beyond theory. Participants worked through:
• How community groups are formed, governed, and led.
• What the Community Groups Registration Act (2022) requires in practice.
• How to develop constitutions, keep records, manage conflict, and mobilize resources.
• How to complete CDMIS registration and engage public systems with confidence.

This is what meaningful refugee participation looks like in practice: not invitations to meetings, but legal standing. Not symbolic inclusion, but the ability to sign, open, apply, and lead.

When refugee-led organizations are legally empowered, they stop being implementers on the sidelines and become legitimate partners in local development.

This activity is supported by Independent Diplomat through funding provided by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the Migration and Displacement grant framework 2023-2028
