We proudly celebrate the graduation of 30 men and 10 women who have successfully completed the Engaging Men in Accountable Practices (EMAP) programme.
Throughout this journey, participants demonstrated dedication, openness, and a willingness to learn about positive masculinity, gender equality, respectful relationships, and shared responsibility in building safe and thriving communities. Their commitment to becoming advocates for positive change is a powerful step toward preventing gender-based violence and promoting stronger families.
Congratulations to all our graduates! Your leadership, courage, and commitment inspire hope for a future where respect, accountability, and equality are at the heart of every home and community.

Hope Blossom Initiative successfully conducted its first Psychosocial Support (PSS) session with young mothers, creating a safe space for learning, sharing experiences, and promoting emotional well-being. The session focused on understanding psychosocial support, building resilience, and encouraging healthy coping strategies for everyday challenges.
We appreciate the active participation and openness of the young mothers who attended. Together, we continue to strengthen mental well-being, social support, and positive community connections.

EMPOWERING MEN, STRENGTHENING COMMUNITIES.
We continue to engage men through the Engaging Men in Accountable Practices (EMAP) programme, creating safe spaces for meaningful discussions on positive masculinity, gender equality, healthy relationships, and shared responsibility within families and communities.
Through interactive dialogue and reflection, participants are encouraged to challenge harmful norms, promote respect, and become champions of positive change. By empowering men to take active roles in fostering safe and supportive environments, we contribute to stronger families and more resilient communities.
Together, we are building a future founded on respect, accountability, and equality for all.

We are thrilled to support caregivers, children, and families in the Tucheze-Tustawi – Thriving Through Play programme. We are improving the mental health, emotional wellbeing and positive caregiver-child relationships through engaging in play-based activities.
We have sessions that include caregivers and young children working together in simple everyday play, story, song, and emotional connection to learn, heal, and grow. We believe that all children deserve to be nurtured, cared for, and to be able to flourish despite the challenges encountered.
We share this work with the community to raise refugee and host families' awareness of and encouragement for healthy child development and resilience.

This week, we had a successful first session of the men's group on Preventing Violence against Women and Girls: EMAP (Engaging Men through Accountable Practices). The session was a safe space for men to think about positive male behaviours, respect, accountability and the key role men can play in ensuring the safety and dignity of women and girls in our community. We all work together to continue building towards a future free from violence.

The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence have come to an end, but the work continues. At Blossoms of Hope Initiative, we have been advocating for girls and women who face violence every day. While these 16 days have brought attention to an ongoing issue, we must keep the momentum going.

Gender-based violence affects millions globally, and it’s on all of us to create a safer world. Let’s continue raising our voices, supporting those who’ve been affected, and working for change every day, not just during a campaign.

We are excited to announce the successful completion of the three-month Leadership and Peacebuilding Program offered by Blossoms. This program has been an enriching experience, equipping students with essential skills in leadership, conflict resolution, and peacebuilding.

Throughout the course, participants engaged in practical workshops, collaborated on real-world case studies, and built meaningful connections with fellow changemakers. They have learned how to lead effectively in diverse contexts, foster peaceful dialogue, and create positive impact within their communities.

We thank our dedicated mentors, facilitators, and all participants for their commitment to this transformative journey. Together, we are shaping the next generation of leaders and peacebuilders.

The 25th EAC MSMEs Trade Fair (7th–16th November 2025) at Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi proved to be a transformative event for local artisans from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi, and beyond. With the support of HEVA Fund and the Sanara Market Access Program, we were invited to participate in showcasing sustainable, handmade products and fostering regional connections.

More than just an exhibition, the fair created valuable opportunities for artisans to meet new buyers, partners, and expand their markets. It helped raise the visibility of small businesses, driving growth and collaboration across East Africa.

Blossoms was proud to participate, connecting with fellow artisans and gaining exposure that will help grow our reach and impact.

With over 2,000 exhibitors and countless networking opportunities, the trade fair was a significant step toward regional integration and empowerment for local creators.

Thanks to HEVA Fund and Sanara, we were able to strengthen our brand presence, grow our network, and increase market access. We’re excited about the future and the opportunities ahead!
