Accelerated Learning for Brighter Futures!
Turkana Cares Integrated Development Organization (TUCIDO), with support from NRC Kakuma Program, is implementing the Accelerated Learning Education Program to strengthen education in refugee schools and host communities.
Together with school Boards of Management, we are mobilizing children to enroll, stay, and succeed in school. This initiative ensures that every child whether from the refugee community or the host community has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

🌍✨ Listening to Voices, Building Livelihoods ✨🌍
At TUCIDO, we believe that sustainable development begins with listening. Through our recent Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with young people and women’s groups in Turkana, we had powerful stories, ideas, and aspirations for better livelihoods.
👩🏽‍🧑🏾 Women shared innovative ways to strengthen household income.
👨🏽‍🦱 Youth expressed their drive to create opportunities and lead change.
🤝 Together, they highlighted the importance of skills, resilience, and community support.
These conversations are shaping our integrated livelihood programs—ensuring that every initiative reflects the real needs and dreams of the people we serve.

🌍📚 Turkana Cares Integrated Development Organization (TUCIDO), together with the Norwegian Refugee Council Kenya (NRC), has successfully wrapped up a two-week mobilization exercise for the Accelerated Education Program (AEP).
This milestone brings hope and opportunity to out-of-school children and youth in Turkana, giving them a second chance to learn, grow, and thrive.
