We were honored to participate in a convening organized by Tisa Kenya under the Tupigane na Ufisadi (TUNU) Projec bringing together Civil Society Organizations from Homabay, Kisumu, Siaya, and Kakamega counties.The conversations were clear and urgent: Kenyans are tired of politics driven by cash handouts, ethnic loyalty, and short-term noise. As we approach 2027, we must shift to a politics of solutions demanding accountability on fuel prices, cost of living, healthcare, and education.

The state of this road is now getting concerning, it is within isukha Central ward, Shinyalu sub-county just behind shabwali primary school. Students and residents continuously use it to commute. It's condition keeps getting worse we are requesting Kenya Roads Board to kindly maintain it before the heavy rains return again. We finally got a response from Kenya Roads Board concerning the Shem Bridge. Shem Bridge continues to put residents of Ingotse Matiya at risk when it floods students are being swept away while they go to school and also students lose lives on the same Bridge.
