How often do we ask the men in our lives, "Are you okay?"

Men are often the pillars of their families and communities, carrying responsibilities that many never see. Yet, too often, they suffer in silence.

In recognition of Men's Mental Health Month, on 26th June 2026, Amaica Group Foundation, together with Kenya Red Cross – Kakamega Branch and other partners, brought the community together to create awareness on mental health through open conversations, the establishment of kitchen gardens, and a vibrant Chapo Fest, at Kakamega Rehabilitation school.

Mental health matters. Breaking the silence starts with listening, supporting, and reminding every man that it's okay to speak up and seek help.

Join us in promoting healthier minds and stronger communities by following our social media platforms for more health awareness initiatives.

-How are tree seedlings produced?
-Where do tree seeds come from?
-Can a tree nursery become a source of income?

As part of our ongoing weekly radio education program, on Wednesday, 29th July 2026, the Amaica Group Foundation and Amaica Media teams visited the KEFRI Kakamega Regional Centre to gain practical knowledge on tree seed collection, handling, and seedling production.

The knowledge gained will help us engage and empower communities with practical livelihood skills while promoting environmental conservation.
