Kakamega Orphans Care Centre

Kakamega Orphans Care Centre KOCC was founded by 2001 by a group of Quaker women in Kakamega, Kenya.

Our programs provide material support, nurture, and guidance to more than 150 elementary school students, more than 150 high school students, and more than 20 college and university students. Our organization's work is funded through a longstanding partnership with Friends of Kakamega in Freeport, Maine. Since 2016, our high school program has been expanded through the help of our newest partner, Crossroads Springs Africa of Buffalo, New York.
