Today We held a successful meeting with the Isiolo county Chief Officer for Environment, Climate Change and Natural Resources at his office. We discussed strengthening collaboration on environmental conservation and climate action. We appreciate his warm reception and look forward to a fruitful partnership.

As part of our commitment to environmental conservation and community service, today Isiolo Eco Alliance CBO, with the support of the State Department for Correctional Services under the Ministry of Interior and National Administration through Isiolo Men Prison, successfully conducted a clean-up exercise at Tullu Roba Chief's Camp, where our office is located.

We sincerely appreciate the invaluable support and cooperation extended by Isiolo Men Prison in making this activity a success. Their contribution demonstrates the importance of partnerships in promoting a clean, healthy, and sustainable environment for all.

We look forward to strengthening our collaboration and undertaking more community and environmental initiatives together in the future.

🌱 A Major Step Towards a Greener Future! 🌱
Today, Isiolo Eco Alliance proudly received materials to establish our green space under the Sikiliza Sauti Yetu, Dunia Inaita programme. The support includes posts, green net, watering cans, a hose pipe, over 5,000 seeds, binding wire, nails, fertilizer, and 4,000 biodegradable papers for seed germination.
This support will greatly strengthen our environmental conservation efforts and empower young people to take an active role in climate action and ecosystem restoration.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Abdullahi, WeWorld Isiolo Coordinator, for his tireless commitment, dedication, and passion for promoting environmental conservation and meaningful youth inclusion. Your leadership and support continue to inspire us to build a greener, healthier, and more sustainable future.

Maisha Bora Tree Planting Initiative
Today, Mr. Emmanuel Godana Abduba visited Maisha Bora to follow up on preparations for a community-led tree planting activity. Through support from NEMA, 40 tree seedlings have been allocated for planting within the area, including the mosque compound and residential homesteads.
The activity is being spearheaded by Gatha Women Group, who are the direct beneficiaries of the project. The group has demonstrated commitment to ensuring the sustainability of the trees through a clear plan for nurturing and maintaining the seedlings after planting.
Isiolo Eco Alliance CBO will play a monitoring and reporting role, documenting progress, key milestones, and project outcomes for submission to NEMA.
The tree planting exercise is scheduled for Tuesday, God willing. This initiative represents an important step towards environmental conservation, climate resilience, and community ownership of natural resource management.

Isiolo Eco Alliance was honored to participate in the Sikiliza Sauti Yetu, Dunia Inaita programme organized by WeWorld at Saala Hotel. The training enhanced our skills in advocacy, communication, and the use of policy briefs, infographics, videos, and audio content to drive positive community change.
