Happy International Women’s Day!

This year’s focus on “Give to Gain” is such a powerful way to look at progress. It highlights the beautiful cycle where investing in women—whether through mentorship, resources, or simply belief—yields exponential rewards for the entire community.

The greatest gain for a woman is the hand reached out from another. We give our wisdom to the next generation so that we may all gain a stronger foundation.

As part of the SDC-GBV Prevention and Response in the Horn of Africa region project, In partnership with Plan International Kenya we are tackling the hard truths!

Despite having some of the strongest gender policies at both National and County levels, GBV cases in our community are still on the rise. Why is the gap between policy and reality so wide?

We invite you to join us tomorrow on Nagaa Radio Isiolo Kenya from 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM for a special panel featuring Isiolo’s top gender officials, including the The National Gender and Equality Commission-Kenya Isiolo Office and County Gender Officers.

Be part of the conversation. Your voice matters. ✊🏽
