22ND MAY: INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR BIOLOGICAL DIVERSITY:

The observance was first created by the UN General Assembly in 1993 following the adoption of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD).

Initially, the day was marked on 29 December. In 2000, the UN changed the date to 22 May to commemorate the adoption of the CBD during the 1992 Nairobi Conference.

As we commemorate this day, let us conserve nature today for a healthier and more resilient tomorrow. ~ Homa-Bay Youths In Agribusiness

One of our best moments with KALRO was during the launch of Homa-Bay Youths in Agribusiness (HOYAB), where they offered immense support and encouragement towards youth empowerment in agriculture.

We were also honored to have KALRO as one of the key facilitators during our recent youth training program, where they shared valuable knowledge with young agripreneurs. We truly appreciate their continued partnership and commitment to transforming agriculture through youth involvement.
