Volunteer Opportunity: Human Resource Officer

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Human Resource Officer to volunteer with our team.
The ideal candidate will help manage our HR functions, ensuring we attract, retain, and develop passionate volunteers and staff committed to our mission.
Responsibilities:
~Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and orientation of new volunteers and staff.
~Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with organizational goals.
~Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
~Provide support in performance management, including conducting evaluations and developing improvement plans.
~Assist in organizing training and development programs for volunteers and staff.
~Address employee and volunteer inquiries and resolve HR-related issues.
~Contribute to fostering a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment.
Qualifications:~Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
~Previous experience in HR roles, preferably within a non-profit organization.~Strong understanding of HR best practices and labor laws in Kenya.
~Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
~Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
~Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
~High level of integrity and confidentiality.
