Launched in October 2010 as an initiative to offer Health, Educational and Empowerment services to members of the society (especially the youth) in Rural & Urban areas. Its objective was to give microfinance to the poor in the community. Our intention was to reduce poverty in the society and to empower Kenyans to succeed through business loans. Since it's inception, NEEMA HEEP has strived to adopt the best practices in the process lending to the poor and the marginalized. This is in terms of the methodology, products, operations, research and development applied. NEEMA HEEP uses the group lending approach. Currently we are working in the urban and rural areas of Embu County and are in the process of Expanding to neighboring counties of Meru, Kirinyaga and Machakos. Neema Heep is a wholly owned Kenyan Organization. We specialize in Microfinance services, believing that by doing this service well, we still have the greatest possible impact. We aim to build sustainable programs that will achieve the highest standards of financial performance. We also retain our focus on serving the poorest of the working poor. We provide finances for formal education, shelter, medical services, welfare and economic empowerment.
