Waste Not, Want Not: Empowering Mothers, Protecting Communities
N-taka is turning a global waste problem into a powerful force for good.
Disposable diapers create a huge environmental burden, clogging drainage systems and contributing to flooding, especially in vulnerable communities. N-taka offers a revolutionary solution: mothers recycle diapers, earning points for healthcare services, while the collected material is repurposed into durable construction boards.

Climate change poses an unprecedented threat to humanity, and youth hold the power to ignite transformative change. In Kenya, each home contribute significantly to greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Young people must engage in the fight to reduce these emissions at this critical level.

Firstly, youth can raise awareness about the issue. Through social media, schools, and community events, they can educate others about the sources and consequences of GHG emissions from homes. This knowledge will empower individuals to make informed choices and adopt sustainable practices.

Secondly, youth can lead by example. By adopting energy-efficient appliances, reducing waste, and planting trees, they can demonstrate that sustainable living is both feasible and desirable. Their actions will inspire others to follow suit, creating a ripple effect that reduces GHG emissions throughout communities.

Thirdly, youth can advocate for policy changes. They can engage with local authorities and policymakers to demand incentives for energy efficiency, waste reduction, and renewable energy sources. By participating in public consultations and decision-making processes, they can ensure that youth voices are heard.

Empowering youth in the fight against GHG emissions from Kenyan homes is essential. Their enthusiasm, creativity, and passion can spark a revolution that will safeguard the environment for generations to come. Let us support youth as they take up this mantle of responsibility and lead us towards a sustainable future.

The Future is In Our Hands: Building a Better Kenya Together

Young people, our voices are needed now more than ever. The recent finance bill has sparked a firestorm, leaving many feeling unheard and unrepresented. We have a choice: to let frustration simmer or to use this moment to build a better future.

Our elected officials are supposed to serve us, to reflect our needs and advocate for our prosperity. When they fail to do so, it's our duty to hold them accountable. But accountability doesn't stop at criticism. It’s about active engagement.

Let's reach out to the representatives who voted against the bill. Let's understand their perspectives, share our concerns, and work together to find solutions. This isn't about winning or losing, it’s about building bridges and creating a future where the voices of young people are heard and respected.

Let's use this moment to redefine our relationship with our leaders, forging new alliances based on shared vision and a commitment to progress. Let’s work together to build a Kenya that prioritizes economic growth, youth empowerment, and opportunity for all. The future is ours to shape, and it starts with getting to the table and making our voices heard.
