Cheryl's Children's Home & Learning Centre (CCHLC) exists to socially and economically empower orphans and destitute children by providing an environment that guarantees development of the children to their fullest potential. Cheryl’s Children’s Home is a registered Christian Charitable organization founded to rescue forgotten, orphaned, abused, abandoned and hungry children in the slum areas in N
airobi. At present CCHLC cares for over 200 children either through direct or foster homes. 80% of the children are orphans, 15% semi orphans and 5% from destitute families. The majority of the orphans are HIV/AIDS affected; however no child is infected. Many of the children of primary school age receive their education on site. Area children benefit from the school as well. CCHLC is a place for these children to call home, where they learn to know the value of a family in which they are cared for, loved and educated until such time as they can take care of themselves and their own future families in society. Because CCHLC is a NGO donations, partnerships and sponsors are necessary in order to provide shelter, education, medical care, food, clothing and Christian morals to all the children. We hope to raise enough money to buy about 60 acres of land, where we can build an orphanage, a primary school, a secondary school and do farming, so we can help more children. There are many ways of supporting CCHLC:
- sponsor a child
- sponsor a high school child
- sponsor a staff member
- one time donation
- regular donations
- fund-raising
- volunteering
- buy land. and much more! Don't hesitate to contact us. You are also more than welcome to come and see our project. We love visitors. We are very grateful for all the support we get. God bless you all. For more information:
