UPDATE ON MESHACK’S CASE

Many of you may recall the story of Meshack, whose situation touched many hearts within our community.

Today, Meshack was successfully taken for a medical assessment at Kakamega County General Hospital, where he was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and delayed developmental milestones.

We sincerely appreciate the Orthopaedic and Trauma Department of the hospital for professionally conducting the assessment and diagnosis, and for accepting to immediately enroll Meshack into therapy and rehabilitative care beginning today.

Further, we are pleased to inform you that Meshack will this afternoon be admitted into a safe home where he will receive close care, protection, and continued support.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to:

- Ray from the Khwisero Children’s Office
- CHP Mike from Emupaka Sublocation
- Mr. David Ashwa of KEEF

for their support, coordination, and commitment towards ensuring Meshack receives the care and intervention he urgently needs.

Thank you all for continuously standing with vulnerable children and families through compassion, partnership, and action.

At Khubabusie Integrated Program, we believe that talent is a gift that must be nurtured, guided, and given a platform to grow.

Last week, we proudly supported a talented band of three young boys, students from different schools, by taking them to the studio to record their very first song titled “Sherehe.” These boys are gifted in songwriting and singing, and this opportunity marks just the beginning of their journey. We are committed to walking with such young talents, giving them exposure, confidence, and the support they need to turn their passion into purpose. When we invest in talent, we invest in the future, and at Khubabusie, we are proud to be part of that story.

Dear Khubabusie Family 💛

Kindly join me in celebrating and congratulating *Blair Okoma* on his graduation from Kisii University.

For 16 Days, we stand together to Orange the World and speak out against all forms of Gender-Based Violence. From our homes to our schools to our villages, we unite to protect the dignity, safety, and rights of every woman and girl. Whether online or offline, violence is violence, and this year we raise our voices loudly against digital abuse targeting women and girls. Khubabusie stands in solidarity with survivors, advocates, and communities as we work toward a future free from fear.
Together, we rise.

November is recognized in Kenya as Children Service Month, a nationwide initiative dedicated to safeguarding the rights and welfare of every child. Throughout the month, justice actors, community leaders, civil society, and stakeholders work together to strengthen child protection systems, promote access to justice, and raise awareness on issues affecting children, especially abuse, neglect, and exploitation. The initiative emphasizes multi-agency collaboration, early intervention, and community responsibility in creating safe environments for children. By prioritizing prevention, reporting, and timely support, Children Service Month aims to ensure that every child grows in dignity, safety, and opportunity, reinforcing the belief that children are our greatest resource for the future.

🌿 10th Friday Mass Fumigation & Mazingira Day!

Another powerful day of impact with the Khubabusie Integrated Program (KiP) team and community volunteers! 💪

Together, we rolled up our sleeves for the Mass Fumigation Exercise — cleaning, disinfecting, and restoring dignity in our shared spaces. This Mazingira Day reminds us that a clean environment is a safe and healthy community.

Gratitude to every volunteer who showed up with love, gloves, and dedication. You are the true heroes of transformation! 🙌

Let’s keep pushing for a bedbug-free, clean, and dignified Kakamega! 💙

Today, we celebrate the heartbeat of every dream. Our teachers. 🌸✨
You are the magicians behind every success story, the reason the world has doctors, pilots, lawyers, drivers, and even more teachers. You nurture greatness quietly, yet powerfully.
Feel seen, loved, and celebrated today because without you, none of us would be here. 💜📚

✨ At Khubabusie, our heart beats for quality and equal education for all. With exams around the corner, we’ve walked into different schools and reached out to our Form Fours, placing a simple but powerful tool in their hands, mathematical tables to support them during this crucial time. 📚✍️

We deeply appreciate our supporters and friends who always stand with us in making these moments possible. 🙏💜

To all our Form Four candidates, we are cheering you on! 🌟 May success crown your hard work in the forthcoming examinations. 🍀🎓
