In pursuit of sustainable democracy, DHA members held a consultative meeting on how to champion peaceful democratic elections come 2027. The discussion geared towards addressing the issues around general elections preparedness in Kenya and how civic education should be conducted to ensure each citizen solely elects leaders of their choice without interference.

In the next coming months, DHA in partnership with other like minded organizations will conduct more civic education to ensure improved accountability on leaders that we select.

As the IEBC starts mass voter registration, we are committed to ensuring community civic education is fostered through our civic training sessions. Today, members of Democracy Hub Africa participated in the Public Participation forum at Kenya Red-Cross Hall in Kanduyi Sub-county.

The forum organized by the National Government seeks to strengthen the public Participation Bill by ensuring meaningful participation of all citizens In socio-economic and political development.

The Bill in discussion gives the opportunity for citizens to actively share their inputs on the operationalization of the Bill before approval by the National Assembly.
