To the parents in Gilgil and Murang'a and the whole nation, who have been affected by the fire incidents.

We as Heart for Compassion have heard your cries. We have seen the images of you waiting at hospital gates, searching through the night, and holding onto hope against all odds. For those mourning the 16 precious daughters lost in Gilgil, we weep with you. For those in Murang'a who narrowly escaped tragedy, we stand with you in your shock and relief. We are praying that the Lord may comfort you in this difficult moment. It's a very sorrowful moment for us as a Nation.

Psalm 34:18 (NIV)
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

When the sorrow feels too deep for words, know that God is not far off He is right there in the rubble with you. You are not forgotten.
