In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
🌙 QURBAN APPEAL FOR TONGAREN MUSLIM COMMUNITY 🐐❤️
As the blessed days of Dhul Hijjah approach, our hearts yearn to fulfill the beautiful Sunnah of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) the act of Qurban. A sacred tradition that symbolizes submission, sacrifice, and love for Allah ﷻ.
> "It is neither their meat nor their blood that reaches Allah, but it is piety from you that reaches Him."
(Surah Al-Hajj 22:37)
In the small village of Tongaren, in Western Kenya, there is a humble Muslim community that gathers for Eid each year with full hearts but empty plates. Many of us dream not of a feast but of just one portion of meat. One bite. One blessing.
This year, we still have hope. Hope that Allah will send kind hearts who can help us share in the joy of Eid al-Adha. Hope that we may taste the sweetness of meat on Eid, not just in dreams, but in reality.
But if the Qurban does not come for us we will still say Alhamdulillah.
Maybe, just maybe, this is what is best for us.
> "But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you..."
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:216)
We trust Allah's wisdom and mercy. But we also know the doors of mercy are opened through people like you.
🌿 Would you be the reason a child in Tongaren tastes Qurban meat this year?
🌙 Would you revive the joy of Eid for an elderly mother who hasn’t had meat in years?
No donation is too small, and no act of kindness goes unnoticed by Allah.
🤲 May Allah accept from all of us, grant us sincerity, and write us among those whose sacrifices are accepted.
