HVCI — HARVEST SEASON: TAKE YOURS
Recognize the Season • Sow in Faith • Gather the Harvest • Steward Wisely • Leave a Legacy
“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”
— Ecclesiastes 3:1
THE HVCI HARVEST MESSAGE
Every person, family, community and nation goes through seasons.
There is a season of preparation, sowing, waiting, building, testing, opportunity, harvest, stewardship and transition.
Wisdom is knowing what season you are in and what that season requires.
When your harvest season comes, recognize it, take your portion, steward it wisely, multiply it and preserve seed for the next generation.
THE HVCI STRATEGIC PRINCIPLE
Prayer → Preparation → Participation → Production → Preservation → Multiplication → Legacy
Pray • Prepare • Participate • Produce • Preserve • Multiply • Leave a Legacy
INTEGRATED STRATEGIC & SUSTAINABLE HARVEST PRAYERS
1. 🙏 INDIVIDUALS
Lord, help me recognize my season, grow in wisdom, discipline, courage and faith, and faithfully use my gifts, time, opportunities and resources. May I not miss my harvest through fear, ignorance or negligence.
2. 🏠 FAMILIES
Lord, establish our families in love, unity, protection, provision, healthy relationships and shared purpose. Help every generation to be equipped, productive and capable of leaving a positive legacy.
3. 🤝 COMMUNITIES
Lord, transform our communities into places of peace, justice, education, health, enterprise, employment, service and opportunity. Make us contributors to sustainable solutions rather than participants in the problems.
4. 🌍 NATIONS
God of the nations, establish peace, justice, responsible development, wise governance and sustainable opportunity. Help nations steward their people, institutions and natural resources for present and future generations.
5. 👑 LEADERS
Lord, grant leaders wisdom, integrity, humility, courage and servant hearts. Help them make decisions that protect life, promote peace, strengthen institutions and secure a better future for generations to come.
6. 💰 RESOURCES
Lord, give us wisdom to create, receive, manage, protect and multiply the resources entrusted to us—finance, land, time, gifts, knowledge, relationships and opportunities—for responsible stewardship and the benefit of others.
7. ⛪ CHURCH & MINISTRY
Lord, empower Your Church to fulfill the Great Commission, make disciples, raise servant leaders, transform communities and become an instrument of peace, hope, compassion and sustainable transformation.
HARVEST DECLARATION
In this season, I will not miss what I have been prepared to receive.
I will recognize opportunity.
I will take appropriate action.
I will gather my harvest.
I will steward resources wisely.
I will multiply what God has entrusted to me.
I will bless others through my harvest.
I will preserve seed for the next generation.
And by God's grace, I will complete my season having left a meaningful legacy.
HVCI — RAISING KINGDOM CHAMPIONS
“Empowered to Transform, Commissioned to Conquer!”
REMEMBER:
Your season is not for watching other people's harvest.
It is for recognizing, gathering and faithfully stewarding what has been entrusted to you.
“Do not miss your season. Do not waste your seed. Do not lose your harvest. And do not leave the next generation without seed.”
— Dr Amb. Maurice Matere

HARVEST SEASON: TAKE YOURS
Understanding the Seasons of Life
Key Scripture:
“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”
— Ecclesiastes 3:1
Life operates in seasons. Every season carries its own assignment, opportunity, responsibility, and harvest. One of the greatest mistakes is trying to reap in a season when you should be sowing—or continuing to sow when God has brought you into a season of harvest.
1. THE SEASON OF PREPARATION
Before public manifestation comes private preparation.
You learn, grow, endure, develop character, acquire skills, build relationships and prepare for responsibility.
Don't despise preparation.
What looks hidden may be preparing you for what will become visible.
2. THE SEASON OF SOWING
“Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.” — Galatians 6:7
You sow:
Faith
Prayer
Knowledge
Relationships
Service
Time
Resources
Good works
Discipline
Your present sowing becomes part of your future harvest.
3. THE SEASON OF WAITING
Waiting is not necessarily wasting.
Some things require time to mature. The seed beneath the soil appears inactive, but something is happening underneath.
Don't uproot your seed because you cannot yet see the fruit.
4. THE SEASON OF TESTING
Some seasons reveal what is really inside you.
Pressure can expose:
Character
Faith
Motives
Relationships
Leadership capacity
Spiritual maturity
A difficult season can become a training ground for a greater assignment.
5. THE SEASON OF BREAKTHROUGH
There are moments when accumulated preparation meets opportunity.
The door opens. The connection comes. The idea works. The ministry expands. The investment begins producing.
Recognize your opportunity when it arrives.
6. THE SEASON OF HARVEST
“Do not be deceived: God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.” — Galatians 6:7
Harvest requires recognition, courage and action.
Some people pray for harvest but fail to gather it.
Therefore:
When your harvest season comes—TAKE YOURS.
Take:
Your opportunity.
Your reward.
Your lessons.
Your relationships.
Your territory.
Your influence.
Your provision.
Your assignment.
Your testimony.
But remember: harvest is not only for consumption; it is also for seed.
7. THE SEASON OF STEWARDSHIP
After receiving comes managing.
A harvest poorly managed can disappear.
What you receive must be protected, multiplied and transferred.
Joseph understood this principle: seven years of abundance had to be managed because another season was coming.
8. THE SEASON OF TRANSITION
No season lasts forever.
There are times to:
Start
Build
Stay
Move
Release
Multiply
Mentor
Hand over
Begin again
Wisdom is knowing what season you are in and what that season requires.
THE SEASONAL QUESTION
Don't merely ask:
“What do I want?”
Ask:
“What season am I in?”
Then ask:
What is God teaching me?
What am I supposed to do now?
What must I stop doing?
What must I start doing?
What seed am I planting?
What harvest is already available?
What must I gather before the season changes?
What portion must I preserve as seed for the next season?
THE PRINCIPLE
Recognize the season.
Understand the assignment.
Do the work.
Gather the harvest.
Steward what you receive.
Prepare for the next season.
DECLARATION
“I will not miss my season. I will recognize the opportunities before me, act with wisdom and courage, gather the harvest assigned to me, steward it faithfully, and preserve seed for generations to come. I will not die with my harvest still in the field. I will fulfill my assignment and leave a legacy that outlives my season.”
Dr Amb. Maurice Matere — Wisdom for Life:
“Every season has an assignment, every assignment has a seed, and every seed has a harvest. The wisdom of life is knowing what to do, when to do it, and what to do with the harvest when it comes.”
