Growing a Greener Tomorrow, One Child at a Time!
We are thrilled to celebrate our impactful partnership with the KCB Foundation under their visionary Linda Miti Initiative! Officially launched at Ajigo School, this collaborative exercise brought together 20 heads of institutions from the beneficiary schools, the Curriculum Support Officer, and the KCB Bondo Branch Manager, alongside dedicated foundation officers, to spearhead vital climate action across the Aila Zone.
Driven by our A Child, a Tree model, the project fosters deep environmental stewardship by establishing a 1:1 bond between students and their trees, ensuring steady monitoring and long-term sustainability. By planting 100 indigenous trees per school, this initiative directly combats environmental degradation, soil erosion, and poor microclimates while establishing healthier, greener learning environments.
We highly applaud the KCB Foundation for their immense contribution to climate action. By aligning their Linda Miti goals with our ex*****on, they are actively driving Kenya's national forest cover targets and empowering students, educators, and communities to take active responsibility for our planet.
