Today, Psi Beta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® pauses in gratitude and remembrance as we honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend. It is a sacred reminder that freedom carries sacrifice, courage, and legacy. We remember those who answered the call with honor, and we extend our prayers to the military families who continue to carry both pride and grief with grace.

As women committed to service, sisterhood, and community, we remain grateful for the sacrifices that allow us to gather, serve, lead, and uplift others in peace.

We Did It! Our 30-Day Green Sister Challenge is complete and what we’ve grown goes far beyond our plants. From small daily choices to intentional care, we showed what it means to truly Enhance Our Environment.

Final tip:
Check the soil before you water.
Put your finger in about an inch.
If it feels wet, wait.
If it feels dry, water.
Too much water can hurt your plant, give it time to grow. 🌿
