We are pleased to announce that candidacy applications are now open for the 2027 PSME Japan Chapter Board of Trustees (BOT).

Serving as a Chapter Officer is an opportunity to take an active role in the development of our organization, represent our members, and contribute to programs and initiatives that strengthen the professional community of Filipino Mechanical Engineers in Japan.

If you are passionate about leadership, service, and making a meaningful contribution to our chapter, we encourage you to consider running for a position on the 2027 Board of Trustees.

🍁🥾 FALL HIKING ADVENTURE 2026 POSTPONED 🥾🍁

Dear PSME Japan Chapter members, fellow engineers, families, friends, non-members and supporters,

After carefully monitoring the weather forecast and considering the safety and comfort of all participants, the Chapter has decided to postpone the Fall Hiking Adventure originally scheduled for September 26, 2026 (Saturday).

Unfortunately, the forecast indicates unfavorable weather conditions, and we believe it is in everyone's best interest to prioritize safety while ensuring a more enjoyable hiking experience for all.

📅 Proposed New Date: October 3, 2026 (Saturday)

The activity will proceed on the new date subject to favorable weather conditions and sufficient participant turnout. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide a final confirmation in the coming days.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding, flexibility, and continued support. We remain excited to bring our community together for a memorable day of hiking, networking, fellowship, and enjoying the beauty of autumn at Mt. Takao.
