Our assistance included:

Today, FSCAMA NPO supported university students taking a Tourism course in Davao City, Philippines, during their Japanese Language Midterm Examination and Assessment.

Through our Japanese-language tutorial held every Saturday, we help students strengthen their ability to communicate, read, and write in Japanese. We are committed to enhancing their language skills, confidence, and cultural understanding to prepare them for future careers in tourism, hospitality, and international opportunities.

Today, FSCAMA NPO provided interpretation and translation assistance during a consultation at a law firm in Shizuoka Prefecture concerning the updating of family registration records (戸籍関係手続き) for a second-generation Japanese descendant (Nikkei Nisei / 日系二世).

During the consultation with the Japanese lawyer, FSCAMA NPO assisted in facilitating clear communication and understanding of the procedures, required documents, and matters related to the beneficiary’s Japanese family registration.

This activity is part of FSCAMA NPO’s continuing commitment to supporting Japanese descendants and their families through:

• Interpretation and translation assistance
• Family registration and documentation support
• Coordination and consultation with Japanese legal professionals
• Administrative and daily-life support in Japan
• Guidance and referrals for appropriate legal and government procedures

FSCAMA NPO – TODAY’S SUPPORT ACTIVITY

September 11, 2026 | Shizuoka, Japan

Today, FSCAMA NPO provided assistance to a third-generation Japanese descendant (Nikkei Sansei) who is undergoing outpatient cancer treatment.

Our support included interpretation and consultation assistance with the Japan Health Insurance Association (Kyokai Kenpo / 協会けんぽ) Shizuoka Branch, particularly regarding available health-insurance benefits and the procedures related to the Injury and Sickness Allowance (傷病手当金 / Shōbyō Teatekin).

For individuals facing serious illness, understanding insurance procedures, applications, and available benefits can be difficult, especially when there is a language barrier. FSCAMA NPO continues to provide practical support through interpretation, daily-life assistance, administrative guidance, and coordination with the appropriate institutions.

We sincerely hope for our beneficiary’s continued strength and successful treatment.
