以前の国際交流事業で上田を訪れたグレイスさんが、大阪での半年に亘る日本語学習を終え、今回はご両親のメラニーさんとグレンさんと共に再訪門‼️本当に素敵な家族🥰すごく楽しい週末を過ごさせていただきました✨交流の絆が継続し深まっていること、感無量です🥺
Look who’s back in Ueda! Grace, who first came here for an exchange program, returned to visit after finishing her 6 months of Japanese studies in Osaka! This time, she brought her awesome parents, Melanie and Glenn. What a beautiful family! We had so much fun this weekend. It means the world for us to see our friendship grow deeper and stronger!

今日は当会の今年度総会に加え、米国への中学生派遣事業の第一回研修と保護者説明会を開催しました！今回も素晴らしい代表団になりそうです！
We are pleased to announce that we held the initial orientation and training session for our US student exchange program, as well as our annual general meeting today, It looks like we have another wonderful delegation in the making!

本日、米国への中学生派遣団の選考面接を実施しました。国際交流への熱意と才能溢れる大勢の皆さんに応募いただき、選考はとても難しく、できることなら全員派遣したい思いでいっぱいでしたが、事業の規模を踏まえ中でも最高のメンバーを選考させていただきました。結果は市の教育委員会から後日通知されます。応募者の皆様、スタッフの皆様、お疲れ様でした🙇
Today, we held interviews to select junior high school students for our summer exchange program in the United States 🇺🇸 We were honored to receive a large number of applications, and every single applicant impressed us with their passion for international exchange and their unique talents. It was truly inspiring to meet many motivated young individuals eager to explore the world and connect across cultures. The selection process was very difficult. If it were possible, we would have loved to send all of them. However, due to the limited number of available spots, we had to make some tough decisions. We sincerely thank all applicants for their enthusiasm and courage, and we look forward to seeing their continued growth as future global leaders.

昨日行われた上田市長選挙の結果、斉藤達也さんが次期市長に就任される事となりました！国際交流事業をさらに推進いただけるよう期待しています！
Following yesterday's election result, Tatsuya Saito has been elected as the next mayor of Ueda City. We hope that international exchange programs will be further promoted under his leadership.
