TEDはカリフォルニアに本拠地を置くNPOで、「Ideas worth spreading」を理念とし、年に一回様々な分野のスピーカーを招いて優れたアイディアをプレゼンテーションを通じて紹介するTEDカンファレンスと呼ばれるイベントを行っています。TEDxとはTEDの精神を受け継いだ地域密着型のプログラムです。TEDxはTEDからライセンス供給を受けて独自の運営でアイディアを共有するイベントを行います。このTEDxイベントは、世界120カ国以上800都市で開催されており、その数は現在も増え続けています。
TEDxOsakaUは学生が立ち上げた大阪大学発のTEDxイベントです。大阪大学の広める価値のあるアイディアを集め、大学生・大学院生、高校生、教職員、社会人を対象としてプレゼンテーションイベントを実施します。大阪大学のモットーである「地域に生き世界に伸びる」を信条に、イベントの様子はイ
ンターネットで生中継を行い、プレゼンテーションは録画してYouTubeで無料配信を行います。また参加者が活発に議論が出来る場を提供します。
TED is a NPO which is headquartered in California, formed to disseminate "ideas worth spreading"TED was founded as a annual conference , brings together the world's most brilliant ideas of speakers from many fields through presentations.TEDx was created in the spirit of TED's mission, "ideas worth spreading." The program is designed to give communities, organizations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level.TEDx events have been held in over 120 countries, 800 cities around the world and that number is continuing to grow in the present. TEDxOsakaU is a TEDx event which will be held firstly in Osaka University by students. "Ideas worth spreading" in Osaka University are gathered to hold a presentation event that aims to undergraduate, graduate, high school students, teaching staffs, members of society. With the motto of Osaka University, "Live locally, Grow globally" scene of events will be broadcasted over internet and the recorded presentation will be also distributed on youtube freely. Furthermore, participants are given an opportunity to lively discuss at TEDxOsakaU.
