Alhamdulillah, the webinar “Career Launch in Japan – Job Hunting Strategies for International Students” organized by the Pakistan Students Association Japan was successfully conducted today.

We sincerely thank all our distinguished speakers for sharing their valuable experiences, job hunting journeys, strategies, and insights about navigating career opportunities in Japan.

Their practical guidance on topics such as starting the job hunting process, useful resources, challenges faced by international students, and opportunities with or without strong Japanese proficiency was highly beneficial for participants.

We are also grateful to the large number of students and participants who joined the session and showed great interest in learning from the experiences of recent graduates working in Japan.

The 8th Plenary Meeting of International Students Associations in Japan

Today Vice President Mr. Muhammad Amir (onsite) and Information Secretary Ms. Pakiza Fatima( online) represented PSAJ in the 8th Annual Domestic International Students Associations Meeting organized by JASSO (Japan Student Services Organization) at the Tokyo International Exchange Center.

It was a proud moment for PSAJ to represent the Pakistani community and students in Japan among many international student organizations in Japan.
Representatives from several countries participated in this meeting, including Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Cameroon, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, Ghana, Taiwan, and Pakistan. 

During the session, each association introduced its activities and shared experiences about supporting international students in Japan. PSAJ’s efforts in promoting Pakistani culture, supporting Pakistani students, and strengthening our community in Japan were also shared.

We are pleased to share that JASSO appreciates the work PSAJ is doing and continues to provide support and funding opportunities to strengthen international student communities. They especially acknowledged our efforts in encouraging and guiding students from Pakistan who wish to come to Japan for higher education.

It was truly a proud moment to represent Pakistan and PSAJ on this platform, share our culture, and build connections with other international student communities in Japan.

We are pleased to share this wonderful news with our PSAJ community.

Our fellow Pakistani student Muhammad Umar Nadeem, along with his supervisor Associate Professor Koji Dairaku (University of Tsukuba), has received the Best Presentation Award at the Science Academy of Tsukuba (SAT) 2026.

Out of 150+ speakers from across Japanese academia, Umar was the only non-Japanese recipient of this prestigious award, a remarkable achievement also highlighted by the University of Tsukuba.

Many in our community also know Umar for his dedicated service as President of the Pakistan Students Association Japan (PSAJ) during 2024–2025.

We congratulate him on this achievement and wish him continued success in his academic journey. His accomplishment is a proud moment for the Pakistani student community in Japan. 🇵🇰🇯🇵
