（English below) ２０２５年１１月１７−２９日まで、駒込のアッセンブリーオブゴッド教団本部を会場に、アジアンアクセスジャパン大会２０２５を開催することができました。
３日間を通して、戦後の日本の宣教を振り返り、神を見上げてビジョンを受け取り、これからの未来に向かって、再出発する時となりました。
一日目の倉沢正則先生の講演で、戦後８０年の日本宣教の変遷が分かち合われました。
日本のプロテスタント教会の推移は、信徒数(1940年代約20万人→2020年代55万人)、教会数(1940年代1,900教会→2020年代7,900教会)、2010年65万人でピークで、いまは減少傾向が続いているとのこと。
宣教とは何かの理解、、聖霊とは何かの理解、家の教会運動、チャーチスクール、インターネット伝道、そして災害支援からの宣教など、日本の教会が通って来た歩みを外観することで、今の状況を理解する助けになりました。
二日目にはスリランカの指導者、エイドリアンデベッサ師がビジョンとは何かを分かち合ってくださいました。日本の教会もビジョンという名の下、自己実現達成目標のように見えたこともあり、ビジョンそのものを掴むことへの躊躇もある中で、これから神様が私たちを通してなさろうとしている、神のご期待と分かち合ってくださり、達成の秘訣は「どれほどそれを受け入れ、神の目で自分を見るかによって決まる」とのことでした。自分たちの小ささ、リソースの少なさを見るなら、神様大のビジョンは成し遂げられないとのことでした。
三日目には、高見澤栄子先生から、これからの世界宣教の課題として、コロナ以降の社会の変容、教会とは何か、仏壇がある日本での家庭における礼拝所の意味、情報改革、AI時代のクリスチャンの役割、霊的混乱の時代などが挙げられ、日本人の世界宣教における役割の可能性が分かち合われました。
神は日本の教会を用いて、世界宣教の達成を計画されておられるビジョンを分かち合いました。教会の変化を通らされる中、目下の状況は厳しいですが、主は変わらず素晴らしいお方です。
AI時代だからこそ、受肉されたキリストのように、福音が受肉した者として、この社会に生きたいと思わされるときでした。
From November 17–29, 2025, we held the A3 Japan Conference 2025 at the Assembly of God Mission Headquarters in Komagome.
Over the course of three days, we reflected on Japan’s postwar mission history, sought God together, received fresh vision, and made a renewed commitment for the future.
On the first day, Dr. Masanori Kurasawa shared about the development of missions in Japan over the 80 years since World War II. The number of Protestant believers has shifted from about 200,000 in the 1940s to 550,000 in the 2020s, with a peak of 650,000 in 2010. The number of churches has also grown from 1,900 in the 1940s to 7,900 today. His seminar helped us understand the current landscape by looking at key movements in Japanese church history, including the definition of mission, the work of the Holy Spirit, the house church movement, church schools, internet evangelism, and disaster relief mission.
On the second day, Rev. Adrian de Visser, a leader from Sri Lanka, taught on the God's vision. Although many of us struggle to grasp what vision truly is, he explained that God desires to work through us and has expectations for each of us.
The key to fulfilling God’s vision lies in how fully we embrace it and how we see ourselves through God’s eyes. If we see ourselves as small and lacking resources, he said, we will not be able to accomplish the great things God intends.
On the third day, Dr. Eiko Takamizawa spoke on the potential role of the Japanese church in world missions. She highlighted future challenges for global mission, including post-COVID societal shifts, the nature of the church, the meaning of a place of worship within Japanese homes that contain Buddhist altars, the need for information reform, the role of Christians in the age of AI, and the increasing spiritual confusion of our time. She emphasized that God desires to use Japanese believers in significant ways to advance His global mission.
Although the church is experiencing many changes and the current situation is challenging, the Lord remains faithful and wonderful.
In this age of AI, it was a meaningful time to consider how we can live as Christ’s embodied presence in society, just as the gospel itself was incarnate.
