4月11日（土）に福祉会館でイースターまつりを開催しました。参加した子ども12名はまず、ゆで卵にシールを張ったり、好きな色に染めたりしました。その後、目隠しでジャンピングゲームをしたり、手品を見たり、障害物コースに挑戦しました。最後に、お菓子やシールが入っているエッグを探すイースターエッグハントを楽しみました。参加してくださった皆さん、手伝ってくださった皆さん、ありがとうございました！Happy Easter!!

🐰 Easter Festival 🥚
Last Saturday, April 11th, we hosted the SIFA Easter Festival at the Welfare Building. The 12 kids who joined the event started off by coloring their own Easter eggs and adding stickers for decoration. Then they tried different jumping games, watched a magic trick from a special guest, and enjoyed a fun obstacle course.
For the last activity, the kids participated in an Easter Egg Hunt where they found many different eggs with stickers and candy inside. Thank you to all of the participants and helpers who came out! Happy Easter!!

第10回しこちゅ～国際交流フェスタ

2月1日（日）に福祉会館で第10回しこちゅ～国際交流フェスタが開催されました。17ヶ国232名が参加し、ブース巡り、ポットラックパーティーなどを楽しみました。国ブースとして(日本、中国、アメリカ、カナダ、ジャマイカ、インドネシア、ニュージーランド、イギリス、ベトナム、アイルランド、フィリピン)と警察、税関、愛媛県国際交流協会×愛媛県のブースが出展されました。参加者はクイズリレーを通して、ブースを巡り、各国のブース担当者と交流を図りました。ステージイベントでは、インドネシアダンスのパフォーマンスと多言語カフートクイズが行われました。最後には、ポットラックパーティーで様々な国の料理を食べて楽しみました。フェスタに関わってくださった全ての皆様、参加者の皆様、ありがとうございました！


10th Annual Shikochu International Exchange Festival

On Sunday, February 1st, we held the 10 Annual Shikochu International Exchange Festival at the Welfare Building Main Hall. Over 230 people were at the event and were able to enjoy a variety of booths, performances, and potluck party at the end. There were 11 countries booths that included Japan, China, the US, Canada, Jamaica, Indonesia, New Zealand, the UK, Vietnam, Ireland and the Philippines. There were booths for the police, customs, and the Ehime Prefectural International Center (EPIC). Visitors were encouraged to check out the different booths and meet the booth leaders through a stamp rally quiz relay. During the event, there was an Indonesian dance performance and Kahoot quiz contest. To conclude the festival, there was a potluck party that featured food from all over the world. Thank you so much to the booth leaders, volunteers, performers, and visitors for making this great event possible!

1月24日（土）、消防防災センターで外国人向けの防災研修を行いました。市内に住む6ヵ国30名が、もしもの災害に備えるための研修に参加しました。参加者は消防署職員から心肺蘇生法やAEDの使い方を学びました。また、防災シアターで動画を視聴し、消火体験、地震体験、煙避難体験なども行いました。日本は災害が多い国なので、自分や周りの人の安全を守る方法を学ぶことができ、良い体験をすることができました。参加してくださった皆さん、ありがとうございました！

Disaster Prevention Training for Foreigners
On Saturday, January 24th, the Disaster Prevention Training for Foreigners was held at the Fire and Disaster Prevention Center. 30 foreigners living in Shikokuchuo from six countries took part in different trainings to be prepared for a natural disaster or emergency. Participants learned how to do CPR and use an AED to help people in need. They also simulated different types of accidents or disasters and what to do to stay safe. They learned how to use a fire extinguisher, how to stay below the smoke line during a fire, and felt the different magnitudes of earthquakes. It was a good experience for everyone to refresh themselves on how to stay safe in natural disaster heavy country like Japan. Thank you to the participants for coming out!
