Meeting Themeは”Disaster”。
1. Memory of Watermelons
2. About Dialect
3. If You Build It, They Will Come
4. The Person Sitting Next to You

On September 6th, with the autumn breeze just beginning to be felt, the Okayama Toastmasters Club held its 359th regular meeting. We welcomed four guests, bringing the total attendance to 19—so many people that our usual meeting room felt a bit cramped! The meeting theme was "Disaster." In the discussion session, we exchanged ideas on how to determine the veracity of the information online during a disaster. There were four prepared speeches this month too—maintaining the pace of four speeches per meeting that we’ve kept up since May!
1. Memory of Watermelons
2. About Dialect
3. If You Build It, They Will Come
4. The Person Sitting Next to You
Each speech was a standout effort, sharing insights and lessons drawn from personal experience. "That makes sense," or "I should try that, too!"—we always leave Toastmasters meetings feeling truly fulfilled.
And on a happy note, two of our guests announced they would be joining the club! It looks like we’ll need to rent a larger meeting room from now on.
Our next meeting details:
● Date & Time: October 4 (Sun) at 14:00
● Location: Yuai Center
Please sign up here to visit us. We look forward to seeing you!
