【野田セントラルロータリークラブ 第1584回例会報告】

倉持会長の点鐘により第1584回例会が開会し、神田プログラム委員長の司会のもと、会員同士の親睦を深めながら、今後のクラブ活動について話し合いました。

💐 お誕生日・結婚記念日のお祝い

今月お誕生日を迎える小島会員、岡部会員、菅野会員、榊会員、岡田会員、そして結婚記念日を迎える細井会員、岡田会員、山﨑達男会員をお祝いしました。

皆様、誠におめでとうございます。これからも健やかで、笑顔あふれる日々をお過ごしください。

🔹 会長挨拶・クラブ協議会

倉持会長より、10月18日の地区大会についてお話がありました。今年は新たな試みも予定されており、学びと交流の機会への期待が寄せられました。

クラブ協議会では、クラブ運営やフィリピンへの視察訪問について意見を交わしました。視察訪問は2月6日・7日前後の日程で検討しており、参加を検討する会員による初回の打ち合わせを11月に予定しています。

🔹 活動報告・今後の予定

幹事からは、ラーニングセミナーの案内や、野田市産業まつりへの協賛に対する御礼などがありました。また、勝田委員長より会員増強についての報告がありました。

10月28日はグリコ職場訪問後の移動例会、11月7日はラーニングセミナー後の移動例会を予定しています。職場訪問や研修、交流を通じて学びを深め、今後の奉仕活動につなげてまいります。

「見えるロータリー、伝わるロータリー」

地域とのつながりと会員の親睦を大切にしながら、ロータリーの活動と奉仕の心を発信してまいります。

📅 October 7, 2026

President Kuramochi called the meeting to order, and Program Committee
Chair Kanda served as master of ceremonies. Members enjoyed fellowship
and discussed the club’s upcoming activities.

💐 Birthday and Wedding Anniversary Celebrations

We celebrated the October birthdays of Mr. Kojima, Mr. Okabe, Mr.
Sugano, Mr. Sakaki, and Mr. Okada, as well as the wedding anniversaries
of Mr. Hosoi, Mr. Okada, and Mr. Tatsuo Yamazaki.

Congratulations to everyone celebrating these special occasions. We wish
you continued health, happiness, and many joyful moments in the year ahead.

🔹 President’s Address and Club Assembly

President Kuramochi spoke about the District Conference on October 18.
With new initiatives planned for this year, members look forward to
opportunities for learning and exchange.

During the club assembly, members discussed club administration and a
proposed visit to the Philippines. The visit is tentatively planned for
around February 6–7, with an initial planning meeting for prospective
participants scheduled for November.

🔹 Reports and Upcoming Activities

The secretary shared announcements about the upcoming learning seminar
and thanks for sponsorship support for the Noda City Industry Festival.
Committee Chair Katsuta also reported on membership development.

A Glico workplace visit followed by an off-site club meeting is planned
for October 28. Another off-site meeting is scheduled for November 7,
following the learning seminar. Through these activities, we will
continue to learn together, strengthen friendships, and bring fresh
insights to our service.

“Making Rotary Visible, Communicating Rotary’s Impact”

We remain committed to strengthening community connections, nurturing
fellowship, and sharing Rotary’s activities and spirit of service.

【野田セントラルロータリークラブ　第1,582回例会】

2026年9月16日、野田セントラルロータリークラブ第1,582回例会を開催いたしました。

倉持会長による点鐘に続き、神田プログラム委員長の進行のもと、ロータリーソング「それでこそロータリー」を斉唱し、例会が始まりました。

会長挨拶では、先週開催されたクラブ活性化セミナーへの参加に対する感謝が述べられました。また、次回の財団セミナーでは、当クラブが地区補助金を活用して取り組む国際奉仕活動について、茂木幹事が発表を行う予定であることが紹介されました。

地域に根ざした活動に加え、国境を越えて人々の暮らしに寄り添うことも、ロータリーが大切にしている奉仕のかたちです。今回の発表を通じて、当クラブの活動と、そこに込められた会員の思いが多くの皆様に伝わることを願っています。

また、地区補助金と当クラブからの拠出金を活用して実施する国際奉仕活動について、必要な送金手続きが完了したことも報告されました。一つひとつの着実な準備が、地域や国境を越えた新たな笑顔へとつながっていきます。

今回の外部卓話では、山浦福子様をお迎えしました。

山浦様は、長年取り組まれてきた詩吟や、ご家族の介護経験を交えながら、「声を出すこと」「笑うこと」「正しい姿勢を保つこと」の大切さについて、温かくお話しくださいました。

相手の目を見て挨拶すること、口角を上げて笑顔をつくること、日常の中で会話や歌を楽しむこと――。何気ない習慣が心身の健康を支え、人とのつながりをより豊かなものにしてくれるという、実践的で心に残る卓話となりました。

幹事報告および委員会報告では、ガバナー公式訪問例会、青少年交換オリエンテーション、クラブ活性化セミナー、地区における今後の取り組みなど、幅広い情報が共有されました。

学びを分かち合い、互いの経験に耳を傾け、次の行動へとつなげていく――。今回も、会員相互の親睦を深めながら、奉仕への思いを新たにする有意義な例会となりました。

これからも「見えるロータリー、伝わるロータリー」を目指し、地域社会と世界に向けて、私たちの活動と奉仕の心を発信してまいります。

【The 1,582nd Regular Meeting of the Rotary Club of Noda Central】

The Rotary Club of Noda Central held its 1,582nd regular meeting on September 16, 2026.

President Kuramochi opened the meeting with the ringing of the bell. Under the direction of Program Committee Chair Kanda, the members joined together in singing the Rotary song, “That’s What Rotary Is All About.”

In his address, President Kuramochi expressed his appreciation to the members who attended the recent Club Revitalization Seminar. He also announced that Secretary Motegi will present the club’s international service initiative, supported by a Rotary District Grant, at the upcoming Rotary Foundation Seminar.

While Rotary service is deeply rooted in our local communities, it also reaches across borders to improve the lives of others. We hope the presentation will provide a meaningful opportunity for more people to learn about our club’s activities and the dedication of the members behind them.

It was also reported that the necessary remittance procedures had been completed for the club’s international service initiative, funded jointly through a Rotary District Grant and a contribution from our club. Each carefully completed step brings us closer to creating meaningful connections and new smiles beyond our local community.

We were also honored to welcome Ms. Fukuko Yamaura as our guest speaker.

Drawing on her many years of experience in poetry recitation and caring for a family member, Ms. Yamaura spoke warmly about the importance of using one’s voice, sharing laughter, and maintaining good posture.

Her practical advice—greeting others while making eye contact, smiling, enjoying conversation, and singing—reminded us that simple daily habits can support both physical and emotional well-being while strengthening our connections with others.

During the secretary and committee reports, members received updates on the District Governor’s official visit, the Youth Exchange Orientation, the Club Revitalization Seminar, and other upcoming Rotary initiatives.

By sharing knowledge, listening to one another’s experiences, and turning inspiration into action, we continue to strengthen both our fellowship and our commitment to service.

Guided by our public image theme, “Rotary Made Visible, Rotary Made Meaningful,” we will continue sharing the spirit and impact of Rotary with our community and the wider world.

【第1581回例会／The 1,581st Regular Meeting】

2026年9月9日、野田セントラルロータリークラブ第1581回例会を開催いたしました。

今回は、国際ロータリー第2790地区より、森島ガバナー、塚本地区幹事、第14グループの井上ガバナー補佐、伊藤ガバナー補佐幹事をお迎えし、ガバナー公式訪問例会を執り行いました。

例会後のディスカッションでは、当クラブの魅力や現在の課題、今後の活動方針について、会員同士で活発な意見交換が行われました。また、ご来訪の皆様からも貴重なご意見とご助言を賜り、今後のクラブ運営と奉仕活動をより一層充実させるための、大変有意義な機会となりました。

ご多用の中、当クラブをご訪問いただきました皆様に、心より御礼申し上げます。今回いただいた貴重なご意見を今後の活動に活かし、会員一同、より魅力あるクラブづくりと地域社会への奉仕に努めてまいります。

On September 9, 2026, the Rotary Club of Noda Central held its 1,581st
regular meeting.

We were honored to welcome District Governor Morishima, District
Secretary Tsukamoto, Assistant Governor Inoue of Group 14, and Assistant
Governor’s Secretary Ito from Rotary International District 2790 for the
Governor’s Official Visit.

Following the meeting, our members participated in a lively and
constructive discussion about the strengths of our club, the challenges
we currently face, and our future direction. The valuable perspectives
and thoughtful advice shared by our distinguished guests made this a
highly meaningful occasion and provided us with important guidance for
strengthening both our club and its service activities.

We sincerely thank our guests for taking the time to visit us. Inspired
by this valuable opportunity, all our members will continue working
together to build an even more vibrant club and to contribute
meaningfully to our local community.

【第1,580回例会を開催しました】

昨夜、野田セントラルロータリークラブは、2026年9月2日（水）に第1,580回例会を開催いたしました。

倉持会長の会長挨拶では、「親睦と奉仕、どちらが大切か？」というテーマが取り上げられました。ポール・ハリスやハリー・ラグルスにまつわるロータリー初期の歴史を振り返りながら、親睦と奉仕は優劣をつけるものではなく、同じ価値と重みを持つロータリーの二つの柱であるとのお話がありました。

会員同士が互いを尊重し、理解し、信頼を深める「親睦」。そして、そこで培われた心を家庭、職場、地域、社会へと実践していく「奉仕」。活動量や役職、会員数だけではなく、一人ひとりが「ロータリーの心」を持つことの大切さを改めて考える、心に響くメッセージとなりました。

例会では、会員のお誕生日と結婚記念日を皆でお祝いしました。対象となる皆様、誠におめでとうございます！🎂💐

また、クラブ協議会では、移動例会、地区大会、9月16日の街路清掃、14グループ合同奉仕プロジェクトなどについて報告・協議を行いました。さらに、9月9日に予定されているガバナー公式訪問に向け、「皆さんが考える持続可能な奉仕活動」をテーマとしたテーブルディスカッションの準備についても確認しました。

これからも会員一同、親睦をより一層深めながら、地域社会に根ざした持続可能な奉仕活動を力強く進めてまいります。

【The 1,580th Regular Meeting】

Our club proudly held its 1,580th Regular Meeting last evening,
September 2, 2026.

In his address, President Kuramochi posed a thought-provoking question:
“Which is more important—fellowship or service?”

Drawing on an important episode from Rotary’s early history involving
Paul Harris and Harry Ruggles, he explained that fellowship and service
are not competing ideals. They are two equally important pillars of
Rotary, sharing the same value and purpose.

Fellowship means respecting, understanding, and trusting one another
while helping each member grow. Service means putting the spirit
cultivated through that fellowship into action in our families,
workplaces, communities, and society. His message reminded us that what
matters most is not merely the number of activities, positions held, or
club membership figures, but whether each of us truly carries “the heart
of Rotary.”

During the meeting, we also celebrated the birthdays and wedding
anniversaries of our members. Our warmest congratulations to everyone
celebrating these special occasions! 🎂💐

At the Club Assembly, members discussed upcoming activities, including a
regular meeting at an alternative venue, participation in the District
Conference, a community street-cleaning activity on September 16, and a
joint service project with Group 14. We also confirmed preparations for
the Governor’s Official Visit on September 9, which will include table
discussions on “Sustainable Service Activities We Can All Envision.”

Moving forward, our members will continue strengthening fellowship while
actively pursuing meaningful and sustainable service rooted in our local
community.

【第1,578回例会】

2026年8月19日（水）午後7時より、野田セントラルロータリークラブ第1,578回例会を開催いたしました。

倉持会長の点鐘により開会し、神田プログラム委員長の司会のもと、例会ソング「それでこそロータリー」を斉唱しました。

会長挨拶では、流山ロータリークラブの釣り同好会に参加された際のお話があり、横須賀沖でタチウオとアジ釣りを楽しまれた様子をご紹介いただきました。また、委員会報告では、両クラブ合同ゴルフコンペの案内がありました。

今回もクラブを越えた交流と会員同士の親睦を深める、有意義な例会となりました。今後も奉仕と交流を通じて、地域社会とのつながりを大切にしてまいります。

Our Club’s 1,578th Regular Meeting

The Rotary Club of Noda Central held its 1,578th Regular Meeting on
Wednesday evening, August 19, 2026.

President Kuramochi called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. With
Program Committee Chair Kanda serving as the master of ceremonies, the
members sang the Rotary song “Sore de Koso Rotary.”

In his remarks, President Kuramochi spoke about his recent participation
in a fishing fellowship outing organized by the Rotary Club of
Nagareyama. He shared his enjoyable experience of fishing for
cutlassfish and horse mackerel off the coast of Yokosuka. The committee
report also included an announcement about an upcoming joint golf
tournament between the two clubs.

It was another meaningful meeting that strengthened fellowship among our
members and friendship between the clubs. We look forward to continuing
to build stronger connections with one another and our community through
service and fellowship.

当クラブ第1,577回例会

昨晩、当クラブ第1,577回例会を、温かな友情と親睦に包まれた雰囲気の中で開催いたしました。

倉持会長の点鐘により例会が開会され、国際ロータリー第2790地区第14グループ 2026-27年度ガバナー補佐の井上様、ガバナー補佐幹事の伊藤様、流山ロータリークラブの伊藤会長ならびに富樫幹事、そして野田ロータリークラブの森下会長ならびに岡部幹事を、来賓として心より歓迎申し上げました。

倉持会長の挨拶に続き、ご来訪いただいた皆様より、心に響く大変有意義なご挨拶を賜りました。皆様の豊かなご経験に基づく貴重なお話と示唆に富んだお言葉により、本例会は一層実りあるものとなり、クラブ間の友情と親睦もさらに深まりました。

井上ガバナー補佐をはじめ、ご多用の中ご来訪くださいました皆様に、心より感謝申し上げます。皆様をお迎えできましたことにより、第1,577回例会は、私たちにとって大変意義深く、心に残る例会となりました。

今後もクラブ相互の友情と連携を一層深め、ロータリーの理念のもと、「超我の奉仕」の精神を実践しながら、共に活動してまいりたいと存じます。

Our Club’s 1,577th Regular Meeting

Last evening, our club had the honor of holding its 1,577th Regular Meeting in a warm atmosphere of fellowship and friendship.

President Kuramochi called the meeting to order and extended a cordial welcome to our distinguished guests:

Mr. Inoue, Assistant Governor for Group 14 of Rotary International District 2790 for 2026–27, accompanied by his Secretary, Mr. Ito; President Ito and Secretary Togashi of the Nagareyama Rotary Club; and President Morish*ta and Secretary Okabe of the Noda Rotary Club.

Following President Kuramochi’s address, our honored guests delivered thoughtful and inspiring remarks. Their valuable experiences and perspectives deeply enriched the meeting and further strengthened the spirit of fellowship among our clubs.

We extend our sincerest appreciation to Assistant Governor Inoue and all our distinguished guests for honoring us with their visit. Their presence made our 1,577th Regular Meeting especially meaningful and memorable.

We look forward to deepening the bonds of friendship and cooperation among our clubs as we continue working together to uphold the ideals of Rotary and put “Service Above Self” into action.
