We accept orders based on the last year's catalog as well.

For those of you living in EU or UK:

The mandatory inspection process takes approximately two months. If you place an order by February 2, we can put the ordered plants through the inspection process and ship them in early April. If you place an order by the end of February, we can ship the plants in May. If you order a paper version of the catalog, you probably won't be able to place an order for the April shipment. We apologize for such short notice.

Many of the listed plants still need to have their description translated (my bad), but those whose quantity is “0” are already sold out. We can technically ship the plants till mid-December, but please take the climate in your area into consideration, and place an order before it gets too cold.

Please also bear in mind that we need some time to prepare the plants for shipment, and we also need to make an appointment with the Plant Protection Station for the final inspection (only after which the phytosanitary certificate will be issued).

***For people in U.S.***

We can take orders from people in U.S. now, but the plants will be shipped in late March or April in 2026. The pricing may be slightly different from those listed in the price list, as we are planning to organize a group order for the spring.

If you have an import permit for the plants you want to purchase, and if you want to have them shipped by EMS this fall, it is possible. Please contact me if you want to do that.

***For people in Canada***

Due to the strike, we cannot ship anything to Canada by EMS now, and we don’t know when Japan Post will resume accepting shipments to Canada. You are welcome to place an order, but the plants will be shipped in April 2026 (granted that Canada Post is functional by then).

***About the plants not listed in the price list***

If you want to purchase any of the plants listed in the catalog but not in the price list, it is possible as long as they are still available. Please let me know which ones you are interested in, and I will check the availability. If they are available, you can order them, but the plants will be shipped in the spring.

In collaboration with Chuetsu Garden Studio, Morynos Utsurindo is making thousands of plants from Chuetsu Garden Studio’s 2024-2025 catalog available to people in EU, UK, and Canada (if you are in US, please be patient a little longer; we are working on it).

The descriptions have yet to be translated, but at least it has the scientific names, cultivar names, and the prices.

Chuetsu Garden Studio publishes a catalog every year, which can be accessed online for free or purchased for Kindle.

Catalog numbers are missing on some items. That means that they are not on the catalog. I will post the pictures on our web shop eventually, but if you want to see their pictures sooner, please DM or send me email.

In addition to the prices listed in the price list (not in the catalog), we ask you to pay the phytosanitary certificate fee (9,900 JPY per shipment, no matter how many plants you order), and the shipping fee by EMS (for those of you in Germany, please be advised that live plants can only be shipped from Japan to Germany by international parcel service).

For those plants that require a CITES document (basically orchids), the CITES processing fee is also included in the price.

The plants can be shipped from mid-November till mid-December (if it is not too cold for your area then). You can order plants beyond mid-December, but, for EU and UK, they will have to go through the inspection process again, so they will most likely be shipped in April or later. And it will probably be too cold for US and Canada until April.

久しぶりの投稿、そして久しぶりの出店になります。

10月18日（土）・19日（日）、 #小布施六斎市 に出店します。チラシを見ても「植物市」とはどこにも書いてありませんが、昨年、一昨年同様、「骨董・蚤の市」に出てますので、ぜひお立ち寄りください。

万年青（おもと）、岩ひば、錦糸南天といった古典園芸植物に、山野草やランや多肉植物も持って行く予定です。

☆お知らせ☆

森巣鬱林堂は、信州信濃町から、信州中野へ移転いたしました。「信州」を付けないと、総武線で信濃町から中野に移ったように聞こえますが、相変わらず北信の、高社山の麓です。高杜神社のすぐそばです（今週末はお祭りですね）。今後ともよろしくお願いいたします。

今週末は毎年恒例、400年の歴史を誇る浅草 #お富士さんの植木市 二の富士です。一の富士は体調不良のためお休みしてしまったのですが、二の富士も諸事情により森巣鬱林堂はお休みさせていただきます。もし楽しみにしたくださっている方がおられたら、申しわけありません。私もお客さんたちとおしゃべりするのを楽しみにしていましたので、残念です。来年は復活する予定ですので、ぜひお忘れのなきよう。

室内の植物たちに水やりをしていたら、何やらカサカサと物音が。「何だろう？」と思ってよく見たら、なんと葦簀とガラス戸の間にキベリタテハが。美しい。…だけど、いったいどこで冬越ししてたんだ？外はまだ一面雪だけど、家の中にいても死ぬだけなので、外...

室内の植物たちに水やりをしていたら、何やらカサカサと物音が。「何だろう？」と思ってよく見たら、なんと葦簀とガラス戸の間にキベリタテハが。

美しい。

…だけど、いったいどこで冬越ししてたんだ？

外はまだ一面雪だけど、家の中にいても死ぬだけなので、外に出してあげました。

庭でシラカンバやオウシュウシラカンバを育てているので、それに釣られてきたかな？

まだ寒いけど、長生きしておくれ。
