JIIは、2026/6/4 (木)付にて所轄庁である東京都より「認定NPO法人」として認定されました。

認定NPO法人とは、活動の公益性や組織運営の適正性、情報公開の透明性などについて一定の基準を満たし、所轄庁から認定を受けたNPO法人です。

今回の認定は、みなさまとの歩みが評価された結果であり、私たちにとって大きな節目となります。

新たなステージに立ったことで、活動をさらに広げ、より多く、深く、
外国人住民の日本での生活、そして心に寄り添っていきたいと考えています。

JIIに関わってくださっているみなさまのこれまでの温かいサポートに、心からお礼申し上げます。
新しいステージに立ったJIIを、今後ともどうぞよろしくお願い申し上げます。

We are so happy to announce that as of Thursday, June 4, 2026, JII has been officially recognized as a "Certified NPO" (Nintei NPO) by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.

A "Certified NPO" is a status granted to organizations that meet strict standards regarding public interest, proper organizational management, and transparency in information disclosure.

This certification is a reflection of the incredible journey we’ve shared with all of you, and it marks a major milestone for us.

Stepping into this new chapter, we are committed to expanding our activities and offering even deeper, more meaningful support to foreign residents—both in their daily lives and in their hearts.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone involved with JII for your warm and continuous support. We look forward to continuing this journey together in our new stage!

Would you like to do shool homeworks and practice Japanese with our Japanese volunteers? いっしょにがっこうのしゅくだいとにほんごのれんしゅうをしませんか？

At JII, we offer the “Hanamaru Class”, a learning support program for children with foreign roots, including Japanese language education.
The class is held every other Saturday in Meguro, providing a warm and supportive environment where children can learn at their own pace.

🌟Event Report：異文化アートワークショップ / Intercultural Art Workshop🌟

5/16にOFP会員向けに「異文化アートワークショップ」を開催しました♬
雑誌などから好きな絵や写真を選んで切り取り、自分の想いを1つの作品に表現していくという企画です。
作品のテーマは「文化の違いを越え、人と人がつながる」。
7名の参加者のみなさんと、作品の背景にある体験や想いを共有し合いながら温かい時間を過ごしました😊

On May 16, we held an “Intercultural Art Workshop” for the OFP members ♬
This workshop invited participants to choose their favorite pictures and photos from magazines and other materials, and express their thoughts and feelings through a single artwork.
The theme of the artwork was “Connecting people beyond cultural differences.”
All of us including 7 participants had a heartwarming moment together though sharing the experiences and feelings behind their artwork😊
