Social Facilitator | HR Consultant | Japan
From London to Washington D.C. to the world — Ms. Nakano's life has crossed borders, cultures, and conventions. In 1993, she became the first Japanese national to serve as HR Manager at the World Bank headquarters, later advising staff from around the globe as HR Counselor. She is also known as the translator of the original message that inspired the beloved book "If the World Were a Village of 100 People."
Today, under her "Social Wreath" vision, she works to enrich communities and raise the happiness of every individual — and as a wheelchair user, she continues to embrace each new chapter of life with her enduring belief: that life is meant to be enjoyed.

✨ AWLF Online Summit Vol.10 | Event Recap ✨

On May 8, 2026, we hosted the 10th AWLF Online Summit, welcoming Ms. Sangita Adhikari — Chair of the AWLF Nepal Committee and Director of HUMAN RESOURCES Co., Ltd.

A stranger's dismissive words on a cold night in Tokyo. A newborn baby, and a four-in-the-morning train to Nagoya. Food delivered door to door through a pandemic, despite every reason not to go.

Ms. Adhikari's story is not one of grand strategy — it is one of showing up, again and again, with love. And at the heart of everything she shared was one quiet truth:
"If you are in trouble, you can come to me. I will listen."

Participants from Japan, Nepal, Myanmar, the Philippines, and beyond brought their own stories to the room and found, in each other, the kind of resonance that can only happen when people speak from the heart.

It was an evening that felt, unmistakably, like AWLF. 🌏

✨ AWLFオンラインサミット Vol.10｜開催報告 ✨

2026年5月8日（金）、第10回AWLFオンラインサミットを開催しました。
ゲストは、AWLFネパール委員会委員長・HUMAN RESOURCES株式会社取締役サンギタ・アディカリ様。

見知らぬ人からの「邪魔だ」という一言を、日本で生き抜く原動力に変えた夜。生後1ヶ月の赤ちゃんを抱えながら、早朝4時に名古屋へ向かった朝。コロナ禍に200〜300世帯以上のドアを叩き続けた日々。

アディカリさんのリーダーシップは、戦略ではなく、愛から生まれたものでした。90分に込めてくださったのは、ひとつのシンプルな軸でした。
「困ったことがあったら、私のところに来れば話を聞いてくれる。そのイメージを20年かけて積み重ねてきた。」

日本、ネパール、ミャンマー、フィリピン——国境と世代を越えた参加者が、それぞれの現実と希望を持ち寄り、深い対話が生まれました。
まさにAWLFらしい一夜となりました 🌏
