KOBE Fashion Contest 「神戸から世界へ」をコンセプトに毎年ファッションコンテストを開催し? Since1999, it has been held as study abroad support program to university or fashion school in France, Italy, or UK.

「神戸から世界へ」
神戸ファッションコンテストは、1973年の神戸ファッション都市宣言の翌年に「神戸から新しいファッションの提案」をテーマに始まりました。
ユニークな創造とともに様々なリニューアルを重ね、日本を代表するコンテストとして、そして『ファッション都市・神戸』を象徴する事業として高く評価されてきました。
1999年からはフランス、イタリア、イギリスのファッション系大学・専門学校への留学支援プログラムとして開催されています。
世界を舞台に活躍するデザイナーを目指す方々にとって、この神戸ファッションコンテストが世界への第一歩となるように、
『ファッション都市・神戸』は、日本そして世界のファッション業界の次代を担う若手クリエーターを応援します。

on Contest began in the next year of the declaration "KOBE, City of Fashion" of 1973, under the theme of "the suggestion of new fashion from Kobe". Thereafter, it repeated various renewals, and has been appreciated as one of the most famous contest in Japan and as a symbol of "City of Fashion". We hope this KOBE Fashion Contest will be the first step to the world for young creators who will lead the next generation in fashion industry in Japan and in the world.
