We had a zesty meeting filled with colorful stories despite the scorching hot weather! 🔥

• Date: July 25, 2026
• Theme: Color Your World
• Word of the Day (WoD): Zest / Zesty
• TMOD: TM K. Hori

✨ Meeting Highlights:
• Joke Session:
TM H. Yamada presented a playful joke adapted from the famous Japanese folktale Urashima Taro's Visit to the Dragon Palace. Remember to confirm your ETA with your driver! 😉

• Table Topics:
TM T. Yamada prepared a series of creative questions encouraging members to creatively connect colors with life events and stories.

• Prepared Speeches:
🎤 Speaker 1: TM M. Nishikawa – "Just Doing What I Was Told"
TM M. Nishikawa shared an inspiring story from his professional life, reminding us that a perfect script won't captivate an audience—only speaking with heart and passion makes your message powerful!

🎤 Speaker 2: TM K. Okabe – "Health is Your Fortune, Ordinary Everyday Life"
TM K. Okabe shared a emergency life event she experienced and humorously illustrated why good health is truly our greatest fortune!

🎤 Speaker 3: TM Y. Hoshino – "Bridging the Gap: Gen X Meets Gen Z"
TM Y. Hoshino shared her workplace interactions with Gen Z and reflected on generational gaps. No generation is superior, our behavior is simply shaped by the environment in which we grew up.

🎤 Speaker 4: TM H. Daidoji – "Go away officers!"
TM H. Daidoji completed his special assignment (Managing a Difficult Audience) by delivering a provocative speech that sparked lively debate: Do we still need officers, or just AI agents? 🤖

• Evaluation Session:
Our General Evaluator, TM K. Hata, highlighted the colorful events of the meeting and offered gentle advice on how we can do even better next time.

Evaluators TM N. Imai, TM T. Saito, TM O. Notoya, and TM C. Minemura had provided valuable insights and helpful feedback to all of our speakers!

🏆 Awards & New Beginnings
The meeting commenced with our yearly awards session and the inauguration of our new officers for the upcoming term.
A BIG [THANK YOU] to all the officers from the previous term,
who dedicated themselves to running the club and making it so lively and fun!
At the same time, we are excited to welcome our new officers.

🤫 Guess what? One NEW rule was introduced at DTTMC this year:

🎉 Our club’s vision is to cultivate a space where every member feels safe to learn and grow continuously.

📝 Meeting Highlights:
• Joke Session:
TM N. Imai, our new club president, strategically incorporated her vision into a hilarious joke session. Yes, Madam President, we understand the homework!

• Table Topics:
TM K. Hori prepared a series of inspiring questions that prompted members to recall how past challenges and life experiences have shaped us into better versions of ourselves.

• 🎤 Prepared Speeches:
• Speaker 1: TM O. Notoya – "The Long and Winding Road to Toastmasters"
TM O. Notoya delivered a fantastic Icebreaker speech! He kicked things off with a great sense of humor, smoothly drawing us into his life story before wrapping up with what he hopes to achieve on his Toastmasters journey.

• Speaker 2: TM T. Saito – "The Superpowers of Dogs"
TM T. Saito shared lighthearted and humorous stories about why he believes dogs have superpowers. He kept everyone laughing and closed with a heartwarming joke that left smiles on everyone's faces. 🐶❤️

• Speaker 3: TM T. Shimbori "Forever Protégé"
TM T. Shimbori shared a touching story about his strict mentor and how they reconnected after many years. It was an inspiring look at how the mentors he met throughout life have shaped exactly who he has become.

• 🔍 Evaluation Session:
Our General Evaluator, TM K. Kumasaka, reminded us of just how vital evaluation sessions are for helping speakers grow.
A huge thanks to TM Lynda B., TM Y. Fuse, and TM H. Daidoji, who highlighted our speakers' great strengths and provided invaluable constructive feedback!
