What an incredible year it has been! We’ve shared so many moments, milestones, and meaningful experiences together. 🌸
Our final event featured an incredible flower demonstration by Mr. Toru Koizumi, marking his return after a decade! It was an absolute delight to welcome him back and witness his artistry at our finale. We also held our Annual General Meeting, introducing the newly elected officers and ensuring a smooth transition for the year ahead.
Reflecting on our chapter’s legacy, we’re reminded of the cherry trees we gifted to the Yokosuka Naval Base in 2009 as symbols of friendship and unity. Although nature had other plans, climate change and sustainability have inspired us to take a new approach. This year, we proudly present a "Clay Bonsai" cherry blossom tree, lovingly crafted by the talented clay bonsai sensei, Takae Kobayashi. This enduring masterpiece beautifully embodies our motto—Friendship through Flowers—and will stand as a timeless tribute to our values.
