We held our Rice Planting Experience Event under beautiful sunny skies on May 30!

The weather was more than perfect—it was actually quite hot! Despite the heat, our participants enthusiastically stepped into the rice paddies and enjoyed the unique experience of planting rice by hand.

Thanks to the generous support of JA, Shokukyo, and Takase Bussan, the event was a great success and filled with smiles, learning, and unforgettable memories.

Before heading home, everyone received a lunch box and a small gift as a token of appreciation.

A big thank you to all the participants!

5月30日（土）、晴天のもと田植え体験企画を開催しました！

「晴天に恵まれた」というより、少し恵まれすぎるほどの暑さでしたが、参加者の皆さんには元気いっぱい田んぼに入っていただき、貴重な田植え体験を楽しんでいただきました。

今回の企画は、JA様、食協様、高瀬物産様のご協力により実現。たくさんの学びと笑顔にあふれる一日となりました。

お帰りの際には、お弁当とお土産をお渡しし、無事に終了しました。

ご参加いただいた皆さま、ご協力いただいた関係者の皆さま、本当にありがとうございました！

9th Rice Planting Experience Project
In the early summer weather, plant seedlings in the rice field of the "Hiroshima University Co-op". The seedlings will be harvested in autumn and served in the Co-op cafeteria. Go 'barefoot' in the beautifully prepared fields. Enjoy the slightly cold water and the feel of the wonderfully fine-textured soil. Why not experience rice planting in a beautiful setting?
The “Rice Planting Experience” will be held on Saturday, May 30, from 10:20 to 12:30.
Limited to the first 30 applicants
Time Schedule
10:20 Gather and move to the lobby of the University Hall
10:30 Rice harvesting
12:30 Arrive at the University Hall and receive souvenirs and a boxed lunch.
Participation Fee: Free of charge

Let`s become a student Representative of HU Coop!
The representatives are elected for each class unit of faculty at the beginning of the school term. The representatives participate in The GENERAL ASSEMBLY where they discuss the policies of the Coop that reflect the opinions and demands of the members of their units (class or faculty).
The quorum for an assembly can be 170 representatives.
※The General Assembly
The general assembly which is the HIGHEST DECISION-MAKING BODY of the co-op is held annually during the latter half of May. At the General Assembly, the representatives approve the annual report and the settlement of accounts of the previous year, discuss the business planning and budget for the present year and elect members for the Board of Directors and the Board of Auditors

「総代会」とは、年1回開催される、生協の1年間の活動方針や予算等を決める会議のことです。
「総代」は、組合員の代表として総代会に出席し、生協の活動方針について直接意見をぶつけることが出来ます。
組合員なら誰でも立候補することができ、また5月中旬に行われるので、1年次から参加することが出来ます。 See less

★How to Buy Train Tickets with Students Discount in Hiroshima ★
This is video on how to buy train ticket using student discount in Hiroshima University. First we need to print the student discount certificate in the nearest automatic certificate issuing machine. Most of faculty building have their own automatic certificate issuing machine. After printing it, you can go to COOP travel counter to fill the inquiry form. You will need to write your details such as what is your destination, whether it is one way ticket or roundabout ticket, etc. After that you can submit the form to COOP travel counter staff to buy tickets that you need. You will need to pay the required amount (minus the student discount) and the staff will print the train ticket directly so you will receive the ticket on the same day.

これは、Hiroshima University Co-op International Student Committee制作した、広島大学で学生割引を使って電車の切符を買う方法を説明する動画です。
まず、最寄りの証明書自動発行機で学割証を発行します。多くの学部棟には、それぞれ証明書自動発行機が設置されています。
学割証を発行した後は、生協の旅行カウンターへ行き、申込用紙に必要事項を記入します。行き先、片道切符か往復切符かなどの情報を書く必要があります。
記入が終わったら、その申込用紙を生協の旅行カウンターのスタッフに提出し、必要な切符を購入します。学生割引が適用された金額を支払うと、スタッフがその場で切符を発行してくれるため、当日中に切符を受け取ることができます。
