Furthermore problems at Nuclear power stations and the thread of radiation have also impacted on our way of life. At the Harambee Project we are making wristbands to raise money to get us on the road to recovery. We would like to see residents and those who are willing to help us repair our prefecture wear these wristbands and show their support so that we can make Ibaraki a more attractive place
to live. This term comes from the Swahili word which means to come together and help each other as a collective unit. All profits made by the Ibaraki Hambee Project will be donated to the Ibaraki Prefectural Disaster Relief Headquarters.

在東日本大地震方面，我們的村落「茨城」也遭受了極大的傷害。
不僅如此，還被核能電廠放射汙染問題、負面風評等問題追擊著，正承受巨大的傷害。
Harambee 企劃推出了腕帶，歡迎各位縣民、或是為茨城縣加油的朋友們購買，透過大家戴在手腕上，象徵將大家的力量緊緊聯繫在一起，用愛鄰居的想法去愛這個茨城縣，讓茨城走向強而有力的重建道路上。
縣民大家帶上這個腕帶，互相幫助、互相支持，打造一個更有魅力的茨城縣吧 !
口號是「はらんべー ! (Harambee)」
茨城Harambee的營業額，除了銷售和製造費用，將全數做為茨城縣災害恢復對策．重建事業捐款錢」，捐獻給茨城県災害対策本部。
HARAMBEE是用斯瓦希里語言，代表「大家互相幫助 / 大家互相支持 / 大家一起建立」的意思。
