The University of Tokyo Nepalese Society

UTNes is a common forum for all the Nepalese students and researchers who are affiliated to the Univ.

The UTNeS is a non-political and non-profit association of Nepalese students studying at the University of Tokyo. This forum was formed with the mission to provide useful information for those who are associated or are interested to pursue their further studies at this university. Similarly it organizes various non-academic as well as academic programs so as to promote interaction and promotion of

good relationship among each others. The UTNeS intends to unite all the Nepalese students at different campuses and departments of the University of Tokyo and offers an umbrella organization for their academic and cultural needs.

A huge congratulations to our members, Dikshya Maharjan and Prasiddhee Hamal, for completing their Master's degrees at the University of Tokyo!

🎓Dikshya Maharjan: Master's Degree in Civil Engineering
Her thesis focused on the advanced field of structural health monitoring, using Bayesian analysis to identify the natural frequency of bridge piers.

🎓Prasiddhee Hamal: Master's Degree in Urban Engineering
Her research investigated the institutional readiness and barriers for climate change adaptation within the Kathmandu Valley.
