1995年の設立以来、30年以上にわたりカンボジアの若者や子どもたちの自立を支援してきたJCIA。

先週行われた会談では、両国のさらなる発展と、私たちが今まさに進めている「障がいを持つ若者たちの自立支援プロジェクト」の未来に向けて、非常に前向きな意見交換が行われました。

政府からも大きな期待を寄せられているこの活動を、さらに前に進めるため――。

At the end of May, JCIA had the honor of meeting with the Secretary of the State and high-ranking officials from the relevant Ministry of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

For over 30 years since our founding, we have walked hand-in-hand with the people of Cambodia.

At the meeting last week, we engaged in a highly inspiring exchange of ideas focused on the further development of both nations and building a brighter future.

Importantly, we discussed our ongoing efforts to support the independence of youth with disabilities—a mission that received strong encouragement from the government officials.

To take this vital project to the next level, we need your help.

壁に手作りのジャケットを飾り、店主として試行錯誤しながらも、満面の笑みを浮かべる彼女。ここから、彼女たちの「自分の力で生きていく道」が始まりました。

The JCIA Story: "Welcome to my shop! I’ll tailor your clothes perfectly for you🧵✨"

This photo takes us back to the late 1990s. Smiling by her sewing machine is one of our very first graduates, opening her own shop with the equipment gifted by JCIA.

Look closely at the jackets and vests displayed along the wall—you can see her passion and dedication as a new business owner. This was the moment her journey toward true independence truly began.

Now, we want to bring that same opportunity to our current students. We are running a crowdfunding campaign to gift them with their own 【Starter Toolkit】, giving them the essential push they need to take their first steps toward self-reliance.

新しく商売を始めるのは、決して簡単なことではありません。だからこそ彼らは自分たちで一生懸命考えました。

Two of our 25th-term graduates, who finished their training last September, have opened their own motorcycle repair shop in Phnom Penh!

Starting a new business is never easy. That’s why they put so much thought into how to make it work.

"We decided to open our shop here in Phnom Penh instead of going back home because there are more customers, which means we can gain a lot more repair experience."
"We started this together because doing it alone felt a little scary at first."
