In April, Ghosn Youth Space at Hopes marked Autism Awareness Month through an interactive session aimed at raising awareness within the local community. Alaa led the session, sharing insights and opening space for meaningful discussions and questions around autism. The activity encouraged dialogue, understanding, and greater awareness among participants. 💙

A dialogue session was held today addressing different types of disabilities, with the participation of a diverse group of individuals.

The session was attended by persons with disabilities, along with parents, spouses, and members of the community, where real-life experiences were shared, reflecting the depth of challenges and the importance of mutual understanding.

The session was characterized by a high level of positive interaction and constructive discussion, creating a dialogue space based on mutual respect and the exchange of experiences, contributing to raising community awareness of disability-related issues.

This session comes as a reaffirmation of the importance of dialogue as a means to support inclusion, promote a culture of accepting differences, and enhance the active participation of all segments of society.

The Health Awareness Team and Community Awareness Team at Ghosn Youth Space organized an interactive awareness workshop focused on blindness and inclusion.
The session combined learning with open discussion, creating a safe space for dialogue and understanding.

We extend our sincere thanks to Hiyam for sharing her powerful story and lived experience, and for the inspiring work she continues to do in the camp.
Her voice added depth, honesty, and meaning to the workshop.

Building Healthy Habits Together! 🌱

Our Health Awareness Team at organized an educational workshop on the safe use of antibiotics, in partnership with Jerash Governmental Hospital.

The session helped community members understand when antibiotics are truly needed and how misuse can harm our health and increase resistance.

Small steps in awareness lead to a stronger, healthier community. 😃

📍 Health Awareness Team – Ghosn Youth Space / Jerash Camp

The Health Awareness Team at Ghosn Youth Space organized a special First Aid workshop, focusing on essential life-saving skills that anyone might need in an emergency.

💡 During the workshop, we learned together with the participants how to respond with confidence in situations like:
🔹 Burns
🔹 Wounds
🔹 Fractures
🔹 Insect or animal bites

Our goal was to raise health awareness and build community capacity for quick and effective response in emergencies 🩺
