ضمن أجواء مليئة بالمتعة والتفاعل، أقامت جمعية تراسنطا بالتعاون مع جمعية مسيحيي الشرق SOS برنامجًا صيفيًا مع مخيم ينابيع الأمل في كنيسة العذراء (أم الكنيسة).
على مدار ثلاثة أيام، خاض المشاركون رحلة ممتعة للتعرّف على التراث الأردني بطريقة مختلفة بالتجربة واللعب والإبداع!
بدأ البرنامج بجلسة تعريفية حول مفهوم التراث وأهميته، ثم أطلق المشاركون العنان لإبداعهم من خلال تشكيل أعمال فنية من الصلصال. في خلال اليوم الثاني، تعرّف الطلاب على الخط الزمني لتاريخ الأردن، ثم انتقلوا إلى عالم الفسيفساء وتعلموا أساسيات هذا الفن التراثي الجميل. كانت المحطة الأخيرة رحلة تعليمية إلى جبل نيبو، حيث تعرّف الطلاب عن قرب على أحد المواقع التاريخية المهمة في الأردن، واكتشفوا جوانب جديدة من تراث بلادهم.

In an atmosphere full of fun and engagement, the Pro Terra Sancta, in cooperation with the SOS Chrétiens d'Orient , organized a summer program with the Wells of Hope Camp at the Virgin Mary Church (Mother of Churches).

Over the course of three days, the participants embarked on an enjoyable journey to explore Jordanian heritage in a different way through hands-on experience, play, and creativity!
The program began with an introductory session on the concept of heritage and its importance, after which the participants let their creativity flow by shaping artistic works out of clay. On the second day, the students learned about the timeline of Jordan's history, then moved on to the world of mosaics and learned the fundamentals of this beautiful heritage art form. The final stop was an educational trip to Mount Nebo, where the students got an up-close look at one of the most important historical sites in Jordan, and discovered new aspects of their country's heritage.

From 27 to 29 July, Pro Terra Sancta Jordan, in collaboration with SOS Chrétiens d'Orient, welcomed participants from St. Michael Greek Catholic Church – North Marka Parish for a three-day heritage educational journey celebrating Jordan's rich cultural heritage.
Through interactive activities, a clay modeling workshop, educational visits to Mount Nebo, the Greek Catholic Church in Madaba, and the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George, as well as a hands-on mosaic workshop, participants explored Jordan's history, traditions, and artistic heritage in an engaging and meaningful way.
At Pro Terra Sancta Jordan, we believe heritage comes to life when it is discovered, experienced, and shared. Through initiatives like these, we continue to empower communities to embrace their cultural identity and preserve it for future generations.

خلال الفترة من 27 إلى 29 تموز، استقبلت تراسنطا – الأردن، بالتعاون مع SOS Chrétiens d'Orient، مشاركين من رعية كنيسة القديس ميخائيل للروم الكاثوليك – ماركا الشمالية في رحلة تعليمية تراثية امتدت على مدار ثلاثة أيام، احتفاءً بالإرث الثقافي الغني الذي يزخر به الأردن.
تضمّن البرنامج أنشطة تعليمية تفاعلية، وورشة لتشكيل الصلصال، وزيارات ميدانية إلى جبل نيبو، وكنيسة الروم الكاثوليك في مادبا، وكنيسة القديس جورجيوس للروم الأرثوذكس، حيث تعرّف المشاركون على القيمة التاريخية والثقافية لهذه المواقع. واختُتمت الرحلة بورشة لتعليم فن الفسيفساء، صمّم خلالها المشاركون أعمالهم الفنية الخاصة، مستكشفين أحد أعرق الفنون التي تميّز تراث المنطقة.
في تراسنطا – الأردن، نؤمن بأن التراث يكتسب الحياة عندما يُكتشف ويُعاش ويُشارك مع الآخرين. ومن خلال مبادراتنا، نواصل تعزيز ارتباط المجتمعات بتراثها الثقافي، وتشجيعها على المحافظة عليه ونقله إلى الأجيال القادمة.

From 20–22 July, Pro Terra Sancta – Jordan, in collaboration with SOS Chrétiens d'Orient , welcomed participants from Scout_Catholic – Mafraq on a three-day heritage education journey celebrating Jordan's rich cultural heritage. The program began with interactive educational activities that introduced participants to the meaning of heritage, followed by a hands-on clay modeling workshop, where they explored traditional craftsmanship through creativity and practice. On the second day, participants visited the Rehab Archaeological site, where they discovered the site's historical significance and experienced Jordan's heritage beyond the classroom by visiting St. George church and cave also St. Mary church. The journey concluded with a mosaic-making workshop, allowing participants to create their own artworks while appreciating one of the region's oldest artistic traditions. At Pro Terra Sancta, we believe heritage comes alive when it is explored, experienced, and shared. Through initiatives like these, we continue to empower communities to celebrate their cultural identity and preserve it for future generations.

خلال الفترة من 20 إلى 22 تموز، استقبلت ترسنطا – الأردن، بالتعاون مع SOS Chrétien D’Orient، المشاركين من كشافة ومرشدات الروم الكاثوليك – المفرق في رحلة تعليمية امتدت لثلاثة أيام للتعرّف على التراث الثقافي الغني في الأردن. بدأ البرنامج بأنشطة تعليمية تفاعلية عرّفت المشاركين بمفهوم التراث وأهميته، تلاها تطبيق عملي في التشكيل بالطين، حيث خاضوا تجربة إبداعية مستوحاة من الحرف التقليدية. وفي اليوم الثاني، زار المشاركون موقع رحاب الأثري، حيث تعرّفوا إلى أهمية الموقع التاريخية واكتشفوا التراث الأردني من خلال تجربة ميدانية مباشرة بزيارة كنيسة جوارجيوس التاريخية والكنيسة الكهفية بالإضافة إلى كنيسة السيدة مريم العذراء. واختُتمت الرحلة بورشة فن الفسيفساء، التي أتاحت للمشاركين تصميم أعمالهم الخاصة والتعرّف على إحدى أعرق الحرف الفنية في المنطقة. في ترسنطا، نؤمن بأن التراث يكتسب معناه الحقيقي عندما نعيشه، ونستكشفه، ونتشاركه مع الآخرين. ومن خلال مثل هذه المبادرات، نواصل تمكين المجتمعات من الاعتزاز بهويتها الثقافية والمساهمة في الحفاظ عليها للأجيال القادمة.

Some lessons are best learned not from books, but through places, stories, and the work of our own hands. From 13–15 July, Pro Terra Sancta – Jordan, in collaboration with SOS Chrétiens d'Orient , welcomed participants from the Latin Parish – Anjara, on a three-day journey to discover Jordan's rich cultural heritage, transforming history from something to read about into something to experience. The journey began with an exploration of what heritage truly means. Through interactive discussions, games, and collaborative activities, participants discovered that heritage is far more than ancient monuments. It lives in traditions, crafts, stories, landscapes, and the memories passed from one generation to the next. On the second day, learning stepped beyond the classroom with a visit to the Rehab Archaeological Center. Walking among the archaeological remains allowed participants to connect with the layers of history that have shaped Jordan for centuries, turning curiosity into discovery. The final day was all about creating. Inspired by what they had learned, participants explored traditional craftsmanship through mosaic-making and clay modeling, experiencing firsthand the patience, creativity, and skill behind some of the region's oldest artistic traditions. By shaping each piece with their own hands, they discovered that preserving heritage is not only about protecting the past; it is about actively engaging with it. At Pro Terra Sancta, we believe that heritage becomes meaningful when it is lived, explored, and shared. Through experiences like these, we continue to empower communities to celebrate their cultural identity and carry it forward for future generations.

On Sunday, 5 July, Pro Terra Sancta – Jordan, in collaboration with the National Heritage Trust (PNT) and Yarmouk University, celebrated the successful completion of the Heritage III Educational Empowerment Program (EEP) and the Training of Trainers (ToT), bringing together students from the Department of Archaeology and Anthropology at Yarmouk University and schools under the Directorate of Education of Irbid. Throughout the program, participants explored Jordan's cultural heritage through interactive workshops, field experiences, and hands-on activities, including mosaic-making, clay modeling, traditional dough and salt jewelry, and replicas of Paleolithic-era necklaces. During the graduation ceremony, students showcased their mosaic and clay artworks, while students from Rabia Al-Adawiya School also performed a theatrical sketch and a poem celebrating Jordan's heritage. We congratulate all participants on their achievements and thank our partners and everyone who contributed to the success of this inspiring journey.

في يوم الأحد 5 تموز، احتفلت ترسنطا – الأردن، بالتعاون مع المؤسسة الوطنية للتراث (الجمعية الوطنية للمحافظة على البترا) وجامعة اليرموك، بالاختتام الناجح لبرنامج التمكين التعليمي للتراث وبرنامج تدريب المدربين ، بمشاركة طلبة قسم الآثار والأنثروبولوجيا في جامعة اليرموك ومدارس تابعة لمديرية التربية والتعليم في إربد. طوال فترة البرنامج، استكشف المشاركون التراث الثقافي الأردني من خلال ورش عمل تفاعلية، وزيارات ميدانية، وأنشطة تطبيقية شملت صناعة الفسيفساء، والتشكيل بالطين، وصناعة الحلي التقليدية من العجين والملح، وإنتاج نماذج تحاكي قلائد تعود إلى العصر الحجري القديم. وخلال حفل التخرج، استعرض الطلبة أعمالهم الفنية من الفسيفساء والمجسمات الطينية، كما قدّم طلبة مدرسة رابعة العدوية مسرحية قصيرة وقصيدة احتفاءً بالتراث الأردني. نهنئ جميع المشاركين على إنجازاتهم، ونتوجه بجزيل الشكر لشركائنا ولكل من أسهم في إنجاح هذه الرحلة الملهمة.

As part of the Heritage III project, Pro Terra Sancta – Jordan, in collaboration with (المؤسسة الوطنية للتراث National Heritage Trust - PNT and جامعة اليرموك - Yarmouk University, successfully concluded the Educational Empowerment Program (EEP), bringing together 11 students from the Department of Archaeology and Anthropology. Throughout the training, participants strengthened their facilitation and educational skills before putting them into practice by leading interactive heritage sessions for 15 students from Rabi’a Al-Adawiyya Basic School in Irbid. The program also featured a field visit to Umm Qais, where trainees explored how archaeological sites can become engaging learning environments that connect history with hands-on educational experiences. Through this collaboration, Pro Terra Sancta – Jordan, PNT, and Yarmouk University continue to support youth engagement in heritage preservation by equipping future professionals with the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence to promote Jordan's rich cultural legacy within their communities.

في إطار مشروع مشروع "تراثنا الثالث" ، اختتمت ترسنطا – الأردن، بالتعاون مع المؤسسة الوطنية للتراث (الجمعية الوطنية للمحافظة على البترا) وجامعة اليرموك، برنامج التمكين التعليمي ، بمشاركة 11 طالبًا وطالبة من قسم الآثار والأنثروبولوجيا. وخلال البرنامج، عمل المشاركون على تطوير مهاراتهم في التيسير والتعليم، ثم قاموا بتطبيقها من خلال تنفيذ جلسات تفاعلية حول التراث استهدفت 15 طالبًا وطالبة من مدرسة رابعة العدوية الأساسية في إربد. كما تضمن البرنامج زيارة ميدانية إلى أم قيس، حيث استكشف المشاركون كيف يمكن للمواقع الأثرية أن تشكل بيئات تعليمية حيوية تربط بين المعرفة التاريخية والتجارب العملية. ومن خلال هذا التعاون، تواصل برو ترسنطا – الأردن، بالشراكة مع المؤسسة الوطنية للتراث (الجمعية الوطنية للمحافظة على البترا) وجامعة اليرموك، دعم مشاركة الشباب في صون التراث الثقافي، من خلال تزويدهم بالمعرفة والمهارات العملية والثقة اللازمة ليكونوا سفراء فاعلين في الحفاظ على الإرث الثقافي الأردني وتعزيز الوعي بأهميته داخل مجتمعاتهم.

اختتمت المؤسسة الوطنية للتراث (الجمعية الوطنية للمحافظة على البترا) برنامج تدريب المدربين ضمن مشروع تعليم التراث "تراثُنا III"، الذي استهدف 11 طالبًا وطالبة من كلية الآثار والأنثروبولوجيا في جامعة اليرموك.
وتضمن البرنامج سلسلة من الجلسات التدريبية التفاعلية الهادفة إلى تنمية مهارات المشاركين في مجال تعليم التراث، إلى جانب رحلتين ميدانيتين إلى جبل نيبو والمغطس، حيث أتيحت للمشاركين والمشاركات فرصة التعرف على القيمة التاريخية والثقافية والدينية لهذين الموقعين، واستكشاف أفضل الممارسات في تفسير التراث وتقديمه للزوار، وربط الجانب النظري بالتطبيق العملي.
ويأتي هذا التدريب بدعم من جمعية تراسنطا – الأردن، وبالتعاون مع جامعة اليرموك، في إطار الجهود المشتركة لتعزيز دور الشباب في حماية التراث الثقافي والمحافظة عليه، وإعداد كوادر شابة قادرة على نشر الوعي بأهميته لدى مختلف فئات المجتمع.

The National Heritage Trust (PNT) successfully concluded the Training of Trainers (TOT) program under the **"Our Heritage III" Heritage Education Project**, which engaged 11 students from the Faculty of Archaeology and Anthropology at Yarmouk University.

The program featured a series of interactive training sessions aimed at enhancing participants' knowledge and skills in heritage education. It also included two field visits to Mount Nebo and the Baptism Site, where participants explored the historical, cultural, and religious significance of these important heritage sites. The visits provided valuable opportunities to learn best practices in heritage interpretation and visitor engagement while connecting theoretical knowledge with practical field experience.

The training was implemented with the support of Pro Terra Sancta – Jordan, in collaboration with Yarmouk University, as part of ongoing joint efforts to empower young people to play an active role in safeguarding Jordan's cultural heritage and raising awareness of its importance among diverse segments of society.

On 21 June 2026, Pro Terra Sancta – Jordan, in partnership with the National Heritage Trust (PNT) and Yarmouk University, launched the Training of Trainers (TOT) Program under the "Our Heritage III" Heritage Education Project, bringing together 11 students from the Faculty of Archaeology And Anthropology at جامعة اليرموك - Yarmouk University. The training focused on preparing participants to become trainers and facilitators in heritage education through interactive sessions covering tangible and intangible cultural heritage and storytelling, along with practical activities including mosaic art, educational diorama design, lesson planning, as well as training in child protection and classroom management. The program concluded with field visits to two archaeological sites (Mount Nebo and Baptism) where participants had the opportunity to apply their learning in real heritage settings.

انطلقت في 21 حزيران 2026 فعاليات برنامج تدريب المدربين (TOT) ضمن مشروع "تراثنا الثالث" للتعليم التراثي، الذي تنفذه برو ترسنطا – الأردن بالشراكة مع المؤسسة الوطنية للتراث (الجمعية الوطنية للمحافظة على البترا) وجامعة اليرموك، بمشاركة 11 طالبًا وطالبة من كلية الآثار والأنثروبولوجيا.
ركّزت التدريبات على إعداد المشاركين ليكونوا مدربين وميسّرين في مجال التعليم التراثي، من خلال جلسات تفاعلية تناولت التراث الثقافي المادي وغير المادي، والسرد القصصي، إلى جانب أنشطة عملية شملت الفسيفساء، وتصميم المجسمات التعليمية، وإعداد الخطط التعليمية، بالإضافة إلى التدريب على حماية الطفل والإدارة الصفية. واختُتم البرنامج بزيارات ميدانية إلى موقعين أثريين (جبل نيبو والمغطس) ، أتاحت للمشاركين فرصة تطبيق ما تعلموه على أرض الواقع.
