Glimpses of the Ghor Fefa KG.

A wonderful and encouraging start to the new school year at our KG in Ghor Fefa. ❤️

It was a pleasure to find both the school and its surroundings so well cared for—neat, welcoming, and ready for another busy year ahead.

Most rewarding of all was seeing our young students happily settled into their learning environment, full of curiosity and enthusiasm. Our visit also gave us the opportunity to make sure they have everything they need to learn, explore, and enjoy their time at school.

Their bright faces and eagerness to learn are a lovely reminder of why this work is so worthwhile.

Here’s to another year of learning, growing, discovering—and plenty of happy moments along the way! 🌱📚❤️

A wonderful and encouraging start to the new school year at our KG in Ghor Fefa. ❤️

It was a pleasure to find both the school and its surroundings so well cared for , neat, welcoming, and ready for another busy year ahead.

With the generous support of friends of the Pakistani community, and through the efforts of the Basmat Shababia Ghor Fifa team, school bags were distributed to children of the 🇵🇰 Pakistani community 🇵🇰 in the Southern Jordan Valley in preparation for the new school year.

We made sure that the school bags were comfortable and easy to use, and that they were equipped with wheels and pull handles to make them easier to carry and move around, especially for younger children.

Our sincere thanks and appreciation go to the friends of the Pakistani community for their generous support, and to everyone who contributed to bringing joy to the children and supporting them as they begin a new school year.

Together, we reach children wherever they are, help provide for their needs, and bring smiles to their faces.

Friends of Jordan Society, in cooperation with the Al Ma’moura Women’s Association, recently organized a fun-filled carnival for the children of Al Ma’moura, with the wonderful team from Basamat Shababiya bringing the day to life.

The children enjoyed a lively afternoon packed with games, competitions, entertainment, and lots of laughter.
Seeing their smiles and excitement made the day truly special. Events like these are part of our ongoing commitment to supporting children and creating meaningful opportunities for our community to come together.

As part of the ongoing efforts of the Jordan Friends Society to support sports and community initiatives in Ghor Fifa, the Association provided the Ghor Fifa Club U-14 Girls’ Team with complete sports kits following its first participation in the 2026 U-14 Girls’ League.

This milestone reflects Ghor Fifa Club’s commitment to expanding women’s football and creating opportunities for girls to develop their talents.

The support continues the Jordan Friends Society mission to empower youth and sports initiatives, while highlighting the role of Basmat Shababiyah – Ghor Fifa in strengthening partnerships, volunteerism, and community service.

As part of the Friends of Jordan Society’s summer activities, in collaboration with Basmat Shababieh – Ghor Fifa,

our children enjoyed watching the animated movie Hoppers today in a fun-filled atmosphere full of joy.

The film conveyed valuable educational messages about the importance of protecting the environment, working as a team, and respecting living creatures. The children interacted enthusiastically with the movie, enjoying it while benefiting from its meaningful lessons.

This activity is part of a series of summer events organized by the Society, including children’s carnivals, movie screenings, sports marathons, and awareness sessions on environmental and health topics. These activities aim to provide children with an enjoyable and enriching summer while developing their skills and broadening their knowledge in various fields.

A special screening of the documentary “Nashmi,” which presents the vision of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince on the role of sport in building individuals and promoting achievement. The film also sheds light on the historic journey of the Jordanian national team on its path toward the World Cup.

The event was held at the Friends of Jordan Society - Fefa with the participation of a number of children and young athletes from Fefa Sports Club. The attendees watched the film with great interest and engagement in an inspiring national atmosphere that reinforced the values of ambition, perseverance, and belonging.

Launch of the “Thaki” Academic Enrichment Program

With the support of the Friends of Jordan Society the “Thaki” Academic Enrichment Program officially launched today. This interactive and comprehensive program combines learning, fun, and skill development in an engaging and stimulating environment.

The program includes Mathematics, Arabic Language, Science, Arts, Environmental and Health Awareness Programs, Self-Confidence Development Activities, and a variety of interactive games and activities, all designed to enhance academic achievement while fostering the balanced development of each student’s personality and skills.

We were delighted by the students’ enthusiasm and active participation on the first day, and we look forward to a learning journey filled with knowledge, creativity, and achievement.

Together towards enjoyable learning and a brighter future.
