About the Program:
Sponsored by the Department of State’s U.S.-Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI), the Tomorrow’s Leaders Program offers undergraduate and graduate scholarships and leadership training to highly motivated candidates from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
The Tomorrow’s Leaders Program partners with prominent American-style universities in the MENA region to build a dynamic network of future changemakers. Through the high-quality education and training provided by partner institutions—the American University in Cairo, the American University of Beirut, and the Lebanese American University—program participants are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills for leadership roles at local, national, and regional levels.
In addition to their academic work, Tomorrow’s Leaders participate in relevant internships, community service initiatives, and leadership development workshops, where they apply their knowledge to real-world settings. Undergraduate participants have the opportunity to study abroad in the United States for a semester, immersing themselves in American culture, engaging with local communities, and expanding their global outlook.
