Our Story
The Humane Center for Animal Welfare HCAW was established on September 20, 2000 as a Not for Profit Organization (NPO) to promote the welfare of animals in Jordan. In July 2005, WSPA, The World Society for the Protection of Animals, matched the Grant given to HCAW by the Ministry of Planning for the construction of a purpose built veterinary hospital, the first of its kind in the region. In September 2005 excavation commenced. In February 2006 her Majesty Queen Rania patronized the Foundation Stone Ceremony and in March 2007 her Majesty patronized the official opening of the Hospital. The center offers your pets some additional services : - Grooming : Bathing , nail clipping and shaving. - Boarding at the kennels . - Adoption (Dogs and cats). - Raising awareness through school visits.
