كل خطوة شجاعة بتبدأ برؤية، وجلستنا الأخيرة من لقاء مع القادة مع رنا طاهر كانت تذكير مميز بقوة السعي ورا الشغف! 🌿✨

من سنوات العمل في القطاع المصرفي لتأسيس مساحة “ليوان” الشبابية، شاركتنا رنا رحلتها الملهمة في التحول المهني (Career Shift) واكتشاف الشغف الحقيقي. حكتلنا عن بداية فكرة ليوان، والرؤية يلي انطلقت منها لبناء مساحة مجتمعية تركت أثر حقيقي في المجتمع المدني.

كان اللقاء فرصة لحوار مفتوح وعميق، طرحنا فيه أسئلتنا عن التغيير المهني، مواجهة التحديات، وصناعة الأثر في عمّان.

كل الشكر لرنا طاهر على حضورها الدافئ وأفكارها الملهمة، ولجميع من شاركنا ونوّر الجلسة بوجوده ورؤيته!

Every leap of faith starts with a vision and our recent Meet the Leader session with Rana Taher was a powerful reminder of what happens when you follow yours. 🌿✨

From navigating years in the banking sector to co-founding Liwan, a vibrant community space for youth, Rana shared her personal journey of making a career pivot and chasing genuine passion. She walked us through the early days of creating Liwan, the mindset needed to build community-driven initiatives, and the moments that shaped her path in civil society.

Our Shapers had the chance to dive deep into an open conversation, asking questions about career shifts, overcoming uncertainties, and driving social impact in Amman.

A huge thank you to Rana Taher for her warmth, insightful perspectives, and inspiring story, and to everyone who joined us and made the discussion so engaging! 🔥

مع اختتام مشروع وازن, نعتز في عمان هب بما تحقق خلال أربع جلسات تفاعلية ركزت على تعزيز التوازن بين الحياة والعمل، وتنمية المهارات الحياتية، ودعم الصحة النفسية والاجتماعية (PSS) ضمن بيئة آمنة وتشاركية.

نتوجه بخالص الشكر والتقدير لجميع المشاركات والمشاركين على التزامهم وتفاعلهم القيّم، والذي أسهم في إثراء النقاشات وتعزيز تجربة التعلّم الجماعي.

كما نتقدم بجزيل الشكر والتقدير إلى د. منال ناجي، أخصائية علم النفس الإكلينيكي، على خبرتها القيّمة، وإدارتها المتميزة للجلسات، ودورها في توفير مساحة آمنة وداعمة عززت من أثر البرنامج وأسهمت في نجاحه.

With the conclusion of the Wazin Project, we are proud as Amman Hub to reflect on four enriching sessions that brought together participants to strengthen work-life balance, develop essential life skills, and enhance psychosocial support (PSS) through a safe and participatory learning environment.

We extend our sincere appreciation to every participant for their engagement, openness, and commitment throughout this journey. Your contributions made each session a meaningful space for learning, reflection, and mutual support.

في وقت سابق من شهر يوليو، التقى أعضاء مجتمع Global Shapers بالدكتورة عبير عبابنة في حوار ثري حول سبل تعزيز المشاركة الشبابية الهادفة في الحياة السياسية في الأردن.

ناقشنا أهمية الانتقال من مجرد إشراك الشباب إلى تمكينهم كشركاء حقيقيين في صنع القرار وصياغة السياسات، واستكشفنا كيف يمكن خلق مساحات أكثر شمولًا تُمكّن الشباب من قيادة التغيير.

شكرًا للدكتورة عبير على هذا الحوار الملهم، ونتطلع إلى مواصلة العمل من أجل مشاركة شبابية أكثر تأثيرًا.

Earlier this July, Global Shapers had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Abeer Ababneh for a meaningful discussion on youth engagement in Jordanian politics.

Together, we explored what it takes to move beyond youth participation toward meaningful engagement—where young people are empowered as partners in shaping policies, influencing decision-making, and driving positive change.

Thank you, Dr. Abeer Ababneh, for an inspiring conversation. We look forward to continuing to advance meaningful youth engagement in Jordan.

We are happy to announce that the first version of Mubdi’at, our Girls Mentorship Program concluded in May.

In the last session, we learned more about conflict resolution, and we had the time and space to explore real life examples to manage difficult situations in our lives.

This session concluded our four-sessions program, Huge thanks to Ruwad for providing us the space and also many thanks for for their sponsorship .

As we gear up for the second version of Mubdi’at, we stay committed to shape the next generation of girl leaders in Jordan.

يسعدنا الإعلان عن ختام النسخة الأولى من برنامج التوجيه والإرشاد للفتيات “مبدعات” في شهر أيار الماضي.

ركزنا في جلستنا الأخيرة على مهارات حل النزاعات، وتشاركنا المساحة والوقت لتناول أمثلة واقعية تساعدنا في إدارة المواقف الصعبة في حياتنا.

بهذه الجلسة، نختتم برنامجنا الممتد على مدار أربع جلسات. كل الشكر لـ “روّاد التنمية” على استضافتهم لمشروعنا، ولـ “firefly Jordan” على دعمهم ورعايتهم للبرنامج.

In our third session of Mubdiyat the girls explored the basics of financial management through interactive activities and discussions that helped them better understand budgeting, planning, and making informed financial decisions. 💵

حضر مجموعة من أعضاء عمان شيبرز منتدى تواصل ٢٠٢٦ الذي جمع الشباب والمختصين في مجالات مختلفة للتفكير بفرص الغد. وأتيحت لأعضائنا الفرصة للمشاركة في جلسات متعددة مما فتح المجال للنقاشات القيمة والذي سيثري توجهات برامجنا في جلوبال شيبرز عمان.

On May 16, Amman Hub members attended Tawasol 2026, a platform that brought together youth and professionals from across Jordan to envision the future of tomorrow. Shapers engaged in a wide range of discussions and exchanged with peers on Jordanian youth’s priorities. Such participation and exchange will inform our projects and future programming at Global Shapers Amman Hub.

من خلال الأنشطة التفاعلية والتطبيقات العملية، خاضت المشاركات تجربة ملهمة ساعدتهن على التعبير بثقة، وتعزيز حضورهن أمام الجمهور، والخروج من منطقة الراحة بكل شجاعة 🌟

كان من الرائع رؤية هذا التفاعل الحقيقي، والمشاركة الفعّالة، والدعم المتبادل بين الجميع، مما جعل الجلسة مليئة باللحظات الملهمة والذكريات الجميلة.

This session focused on public speaking and self-confidence

Through hands-on exercises and meaningful discussions, participants explored ways to express themselves with confidence, strengthen their presence in front of an audience, and step outside their comfort zones 🌟

It was inspiring to witness the enthusiasm, support, and active participation that made this session truly memorable and empowering.
