We invite (Jordanian) youth workers and people working directly with young people to apply for WATER, an eight-day international training bringing together 30 participants from Slovenia, Spain, France, Greece, Latvia, Morocco and Jordan. The training explores how embodied and arts-based approaches can make youth work more accessible, culturally sensitive and responsive to the effects of trauma.
Who is this training for:
This training is for youth workers who meet young people carrying experiences of war, displacement, violence or exclusion — young people who often cannot, or do not want to, put those experiences into words. Over eight days you will learn practical, arts-based and embodied tools that work where language does not, and how to use them safely and ethically.
If you are motivated to explore embodied and arts-based methods and can put what you learn into practice with support from your organization, this training could be a good fit for you.
Participation and costs
For selected participants, the training, accommodation and provided meals are covered. There is no participation fee.
Eligible travel costs will be reimbursed up to the applicable Erasmus+ travel grant limits. All travel arrangements and costs must be agreed with WE center and APIS after selection and approved before booking.
Accommodation is in shared rooms for three or four people; eligible green travelers may share a twin room. Bedrooms and accommodation corridors or floors are separated by gender, with individual needs discussed in advance.
Application deadline · 3rd of October, 2026 at 4:00 pm ( Amman time).
