Throughout August, we brought young people from across the Mediterranean together through the Med-Citizen Virtual Exchange Programme!

Through a series of interactive online sessions, participants explored democracy, active citizenship, intercultural dialogue, and tackling radicalisation, while exchanging perspectives and experiences across cultures.

Using Zoom for live sessions and Slack for discussions and activities, we created a space for learning, dialogue, and connection beyond borders.

Last month, we had the opportunity to participate in a training course in Bușteni, Romania on the Legislative Theatre method.

Developed by Augusto Boal as part of the Theatre of the Oppressed, Legislative Theatre is a participatory approach that uses theatre to address systemic oppression and transform lived experiences into concrete policy proposals.

The training brought together participants from more than 20 countries to explore how creative expression can support civic engagement, social justice, and community-led change.

This project was financially supported by the Erasmus+ programme through the Romanian National Agency and implemented by A.R.T. Fusion Association.

Many thanks to ._ for the opportunity and for creating this space for learning and exchange.

We look forward to bringing these ideas and methods into our work with young people.

There is nothing more beautiful than children smiling and feeling loved and safe in a world filled with chaos and conflict 💛

In coordination with the Ministry of Social Development, Bloom Your Youth had the privilege of hosting a Ramadan Iftar and recreational activities for the children at Children’s Care Home – Al-Hashmi, Amman.

We’re grateful for the Ministry’s support, for all the volunteers who joined us, and for every smile that reminded us why we do what we do.

More meaningful initiatives ahead for our beloved Jordan. ✨
