To encourage the healing process through awareness and involvement in spiritual, social, educational, and health-related services in rural Jamaica

FOR U began as a common vision. A vision of hope and healing expressed in love and service to one another. A vision that would unify a community and empower the people to realize their full potential so that they, in turn, would reach out to others. A vision that calls us to be the hands and feet of Christ. You can be a part of that vision by partnering with us. Join us and help make a difference!!!

HE IS RISEN! We hope you had a blessed and meaningful Easter as we remember and celebrate our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

We have been busy rebuilding some of the structures on our property that were damaged after Hurricane Melissa.

With the help of some family and local friends, we have built back the playground! It still needs a few finishing touches but now the kids that live here and visit here have a safe place to play!

We’ve also made progress on the chicken coup and hope to start raising chickens again soon!

Thank you for your support and donations to help with the rebuilding efforts. We couldn’t do it without you!

Our friends from Foundation of Faith were hard at work here last week- building and installing drip irrigation systems for local farmers. What a blessing they are to us and to the community here! Thank you, Foundation of Faith!!!

Our team is back in the clinic treating patients after a hiatus since Hurricane Melissa hit in October. Happy to be back to serve in this way! May God bless you in 2026!

We found this Bible on a bed that was covered by 13 feet of water during the storm. It was open to Psalm 126. Remembering God's grace in the past, and asking for His grace in the present. 🙏

"Restore our fortunes, Lord, like streams in the Negev.
Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy.
Those who go out weeping, carring seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them."
- Psalm 126: 4-6

We are so thankful to have God's Pit Crew here staying with us while we partner together to serve friends and neighbors in relief efforts after Hurricane Melissa. They have been working hard cleaning out, rebuilding, tarping, clearing trees, and so much more. It is so awesome to see the body of Christ come together to spread His love. ❤️

Big Ups to the community of Ridge for all of your help volunteering and donating supplies these last few weeks! We took another trip to Parottee today to deliver more supplies to residents there who have been significantly affected by Hurricane Melissa. Big Ups, Ridge! Thank you! It is so beautiful to see people coming together to help others in need and share the love of God!

Last week our team took another trip to Parottee, where we handed out care packages with food, hygiene items, and clothing. Members of our community helped with donations, as well as coming along with us. We also had a water truck with us from someone who donated his time to come with us and distribute clean water.

We had visitors from an organization called “God’s Pit Crew” who brought supplies including their blessing buckets/care packages to hand out as well. And they had special ones for the children!

We continue to assess the needs of residents in Parotee, as well as our neighbors and friends who have been affected.

Thank you so much for the prayers, donations, and support! We trust in the Lord our God, our Provider and Sustainer!!!
